I'm going to boot camp in aug. And I can't wait to get my EGA. I think my time there will be miserable and good at the same time cuz when I was in MEPS for 2 days I met some of the coolest people in the world and we had the best time.... I can't wait to be a MARINE (Semper Fidelis)

The best part of all this is recieving that EGA by your senior drill instructor and singing at the last 3 miles with your senior drill instructor. I was crying like a big baby when I recieved my EGA and still remember that special day. There are no words to describe what you feel, you need to do the 13 weeks of hell. I would never forget this experience.
