This is heart breaking to me. She had so much potential and all eyes on her for at least two years and she couldn't even get a wildcard into the open. I hope she's happy being away from the thing she'd centered her life around for, for at least 12 years.

you can tell this is a totally different vaidisova to a couple of yrs ago, there is no passion or intensity at all, like she doesnt want to be out there. she was very intense when she was focused on tennis only and that is what made her a top 10 player.

she will marry in july with radek stepanek and will retire from tennis!! She is really unmotivated for her lost, she in 2009 just won 11 matches and lost 28 it´s very bad!! I hope some day she motivated herself and commeback, it´s scary because she just has 20 years to young and tatiana golovin did the same thing it´s really sad and ivanovic is going for he same damn thing because she is in a very bad shape with very extra activities beyond tennis.

@dude356541 being in a relationship at her young age would do that to most girls, the commitment to tennis is an afterthought and all you really care about is spending time with the bf, stepanek should do the responsible thing and call it quits, there are many other girls he could go out with. he has ruined what potentially could have been a great career.

@dude356541 yep she is going through the motions big time, its like she is having a hit on the practice courts, not even reacting or berating herself when the winners flew by her which she would have done had she been like the old vaidisova, the writing was on the wall in her mind by this stage so the results from then on were irrelevant. really sad to see.
