Best Evergreen Song.I had listen so many times but not like this.I want purchase whole CD but does not available at Pune.If it is possible to send with VPP very thankful if it is happen.
Really love the modern sound given to this very popular and memory-evoking traditional Goan folksong. At a time when these songs are on the brink of being forever lost to a migrant Goan diaspora, we need initiatives like this more than ever. Please keep up the great work, and I look forward to hearing more..
Thanks a lot for this one. Sitting thousands of miles away from home. It took me back to my state. A place I was born and grew up. Got myself transported to the narrow lanes and the people of my state. Thanks a lot. I am going to pick up a record for sure.
We are thrilled that you are enjoying this video and are happy to see so much wonderful feedback. Thank you! What other World Music genres would you like ARC to post videos about? We would love to have your feedback on this.
Really really beautiful singing and music ! I had got a bit bored with this song but you have added some classiness to it and made it hear-able once again ! Thanks ! And yes, I flipped for that beautiful dancing girl !
Parabens, Gonzaga!
in anticpation I favourited this melody of goan songs of olde..but just a bit disappoined on the "indianization" of the instrumentals, words and dancer... not the true konkanin that it should be sung in. But good music!
Beautiful rentition, loved the fusion of piano, violin, drum (tabla?). Brought back poignant memories of my family - dad/mom, uncles, aunts, and cousins singing this one in voices. Thanks, made my day! Would love to hear more ... undhir mozom mama (that was quite a favourite) :)
Simply awesome ... Hope you will come up with more such konkani songs Gonzaga bab :)

Music played here is absolutely delightful, giving us great pleasure.
Compliments for caring to share traditional folk music on YouTube.
Original Konkan songs that were popular in the 1950's and beyond,
hold a special place in our hearts, We adore the songs of fishing
communities with their follk music, from the Maharastra coast
to Goa & further south, to Kochi on the Kerala coast.
We also love the folk dances for these regions.
