There must be so more many of jewels on the cutting room floor. Wahlberg should have nabbed that Best Supp Act hardware here - no contest. Sheen rocked. Damon was flawless and entertaining as hell. Baldwin's line, "world needs plenty o' bartenders," is an instant classic; so perfectly delivered. Nicholson is the caricature of the lot... No ticky...

Mark and Sheen played great in the movie but Leo and Damon stole the show they had the best acting on it. Who would of ever thought Damon could play such a great bad ass cold blooded snake.
He's been robbed of his Oscar so many times. The Academy is full of fucking haters who know they'll never be as passionate, talented and beautiful as Leo.
@clipobserver Dignam may be an asshole, but you noticed how he didn't put up much of a fight when Costigan punched him in this scene? That says plenty.
@Shack83 Just curious, not sure what you mean by "says plenty". Dignam may be a good guy, but his approach is awful. Pushing a guy that is noticeably under a lot of strain isn't smart.
i do not understand why Martin Sheen not even won an Oscar if one of the best actors in hollywood, or even had a nomination, he had to have won the Oscar for Capt. Benjamin L. Willard in Apocalypse Now, that character is excellent, and not even nominated, this is crap.
