Repent means "to change one's mind". If you make the decision to turn away from what you know to be wrong and turn to God through the sacrifice of Jesus, God will then send the Holy Spirit to live in you and enable you to stop living an ongoing life of sin. Pray, meet with others who follow Jesus, read your bible, and obey what it says. "...apart from me you can do nothing." John 15:5

What's so great about Jesus is that instead of just giving people the correct textbook answer on how to be born again, he set out to establish faith in those he talked to. Jesus knew if they could have even a small faith, they would then have become saved.

If we were just destroyed, that would not have bothered me, because as a former atheist I believed that death was the end anyhow.

Repent means "to change one's mind". If you make the decision to turn away from what you know to be wrong and turn to God through the sacrifice of Jesus, God will then send the Holy Spirit to live in you and enable you to stop living an ongoing life of sin. Pray, meet with others who follow Jesus, read your bible, and obey what it says. "...apart from me you can do nothing." John 15:5
