Sometimes peoeple get caught up in the ego and start feeling good about how it sounds to have what they want and in turn they never go after what they want because in their mind they subconsciously completed their goal by talking about it and this can become an continue process.
We should always be careful that we do not become so discreet that we do not talk to the people who could acually help us achieve goals and dreams we may have. I suppose it's about discerning the haters from the helpers.
