hey which way does the actuator move (up or down) to open the ports? my S4 vac hose was broken off the split air and my acts. were stuck in the up postion, so i thought they were closed, i took em off nd freed up the pistons but they spring up so i thought they are closed naturally wen they go UP so wired em down tempararily (hoping theyre open) until i fix the split air pipe O.o
@Amypr1ncess I wish it were true but this not what happens. If it was so great and there was no downside don't you think Mazda would have made the auxiliary port and left the secondary port where it was. That engine will still brap and idle shit because the internal EGR will be increased considerably. Stock ports with only runner work, mild ports, full house PP or go home.
Stock port cars still run 10s with a nice turbo. And a streetport does it with 5psi less big deal....
Looks like its for a fun to drive street car. I'd like to put my foot down and feel those 5/6th ports open with the bridge. I bet a lot of dumb ricer kids ask how you have vtec on a rotary :D
that is a half cut bridgeport. and not a very nice one at that.check this one out its a good example of a nice port job BDC Porting - Front Secondary w/ Bridgeport

That port won't do shit. Straight cut bridge ports = EPIC FAIL
This is the problem with rotaries, too many back yard hacks with no basic understanding of engineering.

It's a 6-port secondary iron, with the aux port bridged.
