Anche se preferiso di gran lunga l'originale (l'assolo è imparagonabile e anche il batterista si perde un pochino al 4:32 ) questo brano è sempre da pelle d'oca!!! Pezzo da museo di musica moderna!

C'ero anche io ragazzi...non so se qualcuno ricorda l'aneddoto...io gli lanciai sul palco un disegno a olio tratto da "A Pauper In Paradise" ...e poi lo conobbi nel camerino...grazie alla complicità di Enzo Todesco...

c'ero anche io che spettacolo! in piedi sotto il palco senza dire una parola! non ricordo l'anno, forse marzo 92! poi l'ho rivisto ad agosto 2000 a tor di valle! ho imparato a suonare con i suoi brani, in particolare quando usci Brother to Brother, in italia mi prendevano per matto quando dicevo "non conosci gino vannelli?"

A Roma suonò al Tendastrisce, io ero con il service luci, vidi Gino (il mio mito) fare personalmente i suoni di batteria sul mixer, Vincenzo è veramente una bestia, suonare con il click pezzi del genere! Non so perché scelsero il basso in sequenza per quel tour. Comunque il concerto più bello che abbia mai sentito! Nei pezzi piano e voce nel teatro non volava una mosca; quella sera pubblico educato, quasi tutti musicisti.

I see there are THIS into YouTube: "Niels Lan Doky & Gino Vannelli - Close Your Eyes" and hear a VERY RARE and more recent tune that is so incredible, it may bring you to tears with its great lyrics of hope and promise. The orchestration, harmonies and Gino's vocals are stunning! Anyone know where to find their album (Haitek Haiku") --it's hard to find.

An unforgettable classic from his 1978 album "Brother to Brother"! This live Concert by the Vannelli brothers in Montreal is also one of my favourites, as well!! It's a real Joy to look, listen and feel Gino and Joe on stage together once more!

Impressionante suono di questo concerto .. Mi è stato vedere il concerto del 92 a Barcelona, in Spagna ed è stato incredibile, è stato lo stesso suono, ma con una messa in scena sensazionale.
