Mr. Nunes, Are you by any chance related to a Tony (Anthony) Nunes who was in the Marine Corps in the early 70's at Camp Pendleton? If so, please respond. Obrigado!
great, awesome, the best. thanks this is just great the best. I bet that with your lessons in 4 or 5 months I will be grasping Portuguese and I will be set to got to RIo!! NExt year I will be in RIo ! hurray.! can´t wait.
Hi to all!!! I need in help...may be someone can help me.I must learn portugues and need a teacher, but in this pages--it not possible to study language.May be in MSN or in Skype...I hope that some one help me.....
Portuguese from Portugal is more European and classy.
The words ended in L and E do not change their sound to U and TCHI as the portuguese from Brasil does.
The word TU is used as the way Spanish use it. The french word QUE is written/read in the same form. The english word THE has almost the same sound as the original Portuguese word DA.
Anyway, the original Portuguese and Portuguese from Brasil are both excellent!
"I'm getting good grades in school" is - Estou tirando boas notas na escola.- "I'm making a new friend in youtube" is - Estou fazendo um novo amigo no youtube.- if the friend is male- or -Estou fazendo uma nova amiga no youtube- if the friend is female. If you're talking about me the last one is the correct. Hehehehe (this is how we "laugh" at the web)
obrigada, por ensennado me como falar portuguese, agora eu posso falar em uma forma correcta, com toda gente, e eles me va entender. how do you say i jus shaved? i hope your not mad at me?
"I just shaved" is -Eu acabei de me depilar- if the person shaved (or waxed) the hair on her/his body. and -Eu acabei de me barbear- if it's a man that just shaved his beard.
And "I hope your not mad at me" is said -Espero que você não esteja com raiva de mim.
1- "Está muito frio e molhado lá fora"... (but brazillians don't really use "molhado" (wet) to describe the weather...)
2- "Você é uma amiga maravilhosa" or "você é uma namorada maravilhosa"... actually "amiga (o)" is used for a friend and "namorada (o)" is used for a date...
3- "Eu estou tão entediada (o)"
Hmmm... female adjectives end with "a", and male with "o".. that's why i put those "(o)" and "(a)" at the end of some words...

how do you say, it's great to be alive, I'm glad l'm reaching my full-potential, l like driving?
LadySmile16 3 years ago

Literally
...''É bom estar vivo'' Say ''viva'' supposing you're a lady...
>>> ''bom'' actually means ''good'' but it sounds way more natural than ''ótimo'' = ''great''.
...''Estou feliz em estar atingindo todo o meu potencial''...
>>> This actually means ''all of my potential''. More casual than ''Meu pleno potencial''.
...''Eu gosto de dirigir''...
polyvox83 3 years ago 2
é ótimo estar vivo (adoro estar vivo), estou feliz que estou chegando no meu potencial máximo, eu gosto de dirigir
