Jeezus i think one of the premade paths will do more dps and have more hp, str or dex based vary, but 16/15/14/12 i think is the ideal str based rouge halfling with epic traps done with adequite gear, charisma eat a +2 tome if your that worried about umd... 14 con is bare minimum no matter what class -____-

Not the best build,not at all,any build does not need to be that high in int,and rogues dont need charisma at all

Dude, play DDO, u will then see why rouges need no constitution. In fact th high DEX will make up for it because he will dodge everything, if u want a high CON character then pick a melee class

6 cons. so what? It's a rogue. the very essence of playing this character is in its ability to dodge and tumble out of harms way. The rogue is very crafty and the whole point of being stealthy is because you were not meant for head on battle. I don't know about you guys but i have been playing table-top DnD for a while now and i have never needed to add more to my cons than what i initially rolled, except for the bonuses and pluses you acquire while reaching higher levels.

@Reno479011 The game is free to play, yes. But there's a lot of content that doesn't come included with that. That stuff you have to spend Turbine Points to get. Apparently there's a way to grind a free Turbine Points, but I'm not into that so... I'll just play what's free.

I'm going to start playing Dungeons and Dragons Online for the first time -- I'm downloading it right now.

Do you have any type of character you recommend in beginner players? Perhaps one that is easy to cope with and learn the basics on.

Also, is there an item mall for this game or is it completely free?

Since you asked, I recommend the Paladin. If you look the "solo ability" of the Paladin is "very good" compared to a other classes like Rogue and Sorcerer which are "challenging". I think there's a type of Cleric that's also classed as "very easy".

As for the paying, it'll be very obvious when you start playing what is free and what is not. Sadly, everything is not free, but I'm trying to stay inside the realm of what is free when I play.

If you like to get sneak attacks more powerfully, you should go to Fred of whom is located inside stormreach at the marketplace inside the House Jorasco Enclave under a huge floating like platform. Once you see him then switch one of your useless feats for a feat for mastering kopesh's. Khopesh's have the highest DPS (damage per second) I have ever seen or heard. And they are one handed too. So that can make a pretty decent weapon.

Ellenoir is a character I've carried from game to game. The character's a girl, and I think that's 'cause I like the character model of the girl better in whatever game I originally conceived her. I've never really felt gender bound when creating toons.

The only help I can offer is that you go the the forums at DDO(dot)com and search for an answer in there. I did not encounter any of the problems other people have when installing or playing.

It's a boost from the default of 8, yes.  ^_^

@dmgpunk Also, charisma is a boost if you're going for sneak attacks. You can use bluff and for some reason, that makes enemies head to you without knowing you're there. And bluff is a charisma based skill.

I'm not really sure man. I downloaded my game a few days before I was able to play so I never had any time-sensitive issues. Try the DDO forums for troubleshooting ports and such, but you might have to simply wait for it to download.
