For the past few years, I've been disappointed with WWE in terms of quality. I didn't like the matches and the storylines were weird. But now, I've heard a lot about CM Punk and his recent events on TV and I ended up watching them. I think he's a pretty cool guy from what I saw. Thing is, I WANT to get back into WWE, but I don't wanna be let down again; so I ask; what do you think WWE should do that would make old fans want to watch again? For me, I want to see better matches and big stars.

You go through periods, like the 80's quite frankly, which were very garnered towards the younger audience, and the product grows with the audience. Now that the fans who were 8, 9, and 10 when the TV-PG era began are turning 14, 15, 16, WWE needs to step up their game and they're starting to do that. The next two years will be awesome.

For the past few years, I've been disappointed with WWE in terms of quality. I didn't like the matches and the storylines were weird. But now, I've heard a lot about CM Punk and his recent events on TV and I ended up watching them. I think he's a pretty cool guy from what I saw. Thing is, I WANT to get back into WWE, but I don't wanna be let down again; so I ask; what do you think WWE should do that would make old fans want to watch again? For me, I want to see better matches and big stars.

@JurassicJeremyJames They need to completely abandon this idea that marketing to kids is the way to go. They'll get there; pro wrestling is a cyclical business. You go through periods, like the 80's quite frankly, which were very garnered towards the younger audience, and the product grows with the audience. Now that the fans who were 8, 9, and 10 when the TV-PG era began are turning 14, 15, 16, WWE needs to step up their game and they're starting to do that. The next two years will be awesome.

@BridgewatersFinest They need to market to everyone. When I was a kid in 2001, I loved wrestling. I'm 20 now and the show obviously doesn't appeal to my demographic. Let's say they do stuff to bring it back up; how would they advertise to fans who quit watching to try to get them back? Don't get me wrong, if WWE picks up, I'll watch it again, but its gonna take something really good to bring me back for GOOD. One night with The Rock will keep me for just that one night LOL

@THEREV468 There is a remix with This Fire Burns and the Nexus Theme and it is AMESOME and that should have been his theme at the pvp but the theme he had on Raw when he returned is still way past cool it is his 2nd best theme behind his 1st ROH theme One Of Us

Yes, Punk has earned NEW fans because of this angle, but to say that many people are jumping on a bandwagon just proves how little you know about the business, and how good an idea it would be for you to just shut up.

They knew he was taking time off when his contract expired and may or may not be back (bit of insider info: his contract isn't actually up until September, so at least for now this is a work) before they gave him the title. It's a storyline.

I assume that guy is cause there's no other reason to praise Luke Gallows... but Ryder is quickly becoming a huge cult favorite, and Colt Cabana is one of the best working wrestlers in the industry. A lot of us have been praising them since long before this angle, and will continue to do so.

Yeah I agree. I've been a CM Punk fan since he debuted in ECW when I realized this guy can actually wrestle. I haven't seen any of his ROH stuff so I guess that makes me kind of a bandwagon. But I won't go around yelling for Colt Cabana, Zack Ryder, and Luke Gallows just because Punk praises them.
