  • I know! You could replace sparkles with exploding Bob-ombs and call it "Koopa Shell Anti-Theft" or something along those lines. Oh no I've become one of those annoying Youtubers that request codes all the time

  • Neat. Odd how you can only have two colours. I'm not sure how that would work.

    Most N64 games' graphics work similarly to OpenGL, which lets you define colouring for any vertex. In that sense, a colour has to exist. For a graphic that never changes colour like this though, they could hardcode it to white and do the colouring in the graphic itself, or use one value for all points, so it is a bit odd.

    BTW, if you press Z, you can adjust the byte as a whole. Good for changing 00 to/from FF.

  • I've found it's also similar to Direct3D. I don't know why only 2 colours work well with sparkles but if you remember I changed all four vertex colours for the coins. But I don't know why the sparkles have colour values. Pressing Z is handy and I think was designed for changing ASCII characters quickly.
