@halomlg117 since patch 1.05 you dont have to loot the corpses only kill them, you get the drops automaticly

The Multiplayer is one of the best ever, really fun, and not updating the game will not make it more of a challenge, since you can play offline even with the update. In fact, the updates make the game even harder because they fix some glitches that made the game easier before.

@xKnightmare29 i haven't found any glitches but i feel like not updating only sticks out invasions that are annoying since you can backstab people when you're infront of them since connections are bad :/ but i feel like soloing the four kings is harder than having summmons

@ChaoticBlitzZ Just use a bleed weapon against stray demon, ex bandit knife or uchigatana. Stay behind him and watch out for his explosion attacks and you will be fine.

i just did this run and i got exactly 0 titanite slabs: i've killed all 10 lizards and got 0 slabs. sometimes i really rally hate this game and wish they didn't patch out that duping glitch. i seriously get way more frustrated by crap like this than cheap deaths and losing 200k+ souls

@praetor47 you're always guaranteed a slab drop killing the stray demon in the asylum and also completing sieglinde and siegmeyer's storyline.

@brainwasher9876 i know. i have those. i also farmed the darkwraiths for 2 more. i'm just saying that by doing this specific run of 10 lizards a couple of days ago i got 0 slabs so that they're not a guaranteed drop as the description implies. that's all

@praetor47 :( sucks. As far as I know the lizard drops in the hollow are random but also they are the only lizards with a chance to drop slabs.

Item Discovery doesn't matter with lizards.....the drops are random.

I've tested this as much as I can with 410 (maxed out Discovery) and almost no Discovery.

The drops are similar with either one. I've gotten nothing with it maxed out and I've got 2 Titanite Slabs and a Green Titanite Chunk with almost none.

I've tested this several dozen times.....seems to be completely random with the lizards when it comes to drops....Discovery doesn't factor in.

I know in DS it was the same with Luck.

@AllSewnUp11 Before you bash this wasn't in one playthrough......this was with over 7 characters testing at least 10 lizards (5 with 410 and 5 with none).

I can say it's true with about 90% certainty, but with From Software you never know it might be so random sometimes it matters and sometimes it doesn't......or with certain levels or certain armor or certain lizards Discovery matters and other it doesn't.

@AllSewnUp11 At least they are fixing noob level glitches this time around. The duping cheats killed PvE difficulty in Demon Souls. I don't mind shortcuts to make a PvP character only, but I hate people who cheat or use guides when they haven't even beat the game once yet.

I even think following a character guide your 1st playthrough is weak. Just play and learn and have fun. Then if you wanna PvP and you can't figure it out use guides or cheats to lvl your PvP character quicker. That's OK.

AWESOME post, Sir! I got 2 slabs w/ an item discovery of 373 (Covetous Gold Serpent Ring + 4 Humanity). Screw farming those Darkwraiths in New Londo that took over an hour to drop a single slab. YOU ROCK!!!!

Do crystal lizards re-spawn? Or is it like in DS where they only re-spawn once, but for every boss you kill in that area, it re-spawns again?

@dguydguydguy They respawn if you miss them the first time, but if you kill them they're gone for good.

Thanks for the video, I believe I found them all! Sadly I only managed to get 1 Titanite Slab, even if I had 410 discovery :/ I'm starting to believe that even with Item Discovery capped the whole thing is still very random.
