The truth is, many priests are prepared from childhood by their parents to become priests & then bullied by a feeling of extreme obligation & fear of not pleasing God to fulfill that expectation. These two commands alone that he laid down summed up the ENTIRE Mosaic law. These are also the hardest laws to follow. It's easy to stone the one who sinned, it isn't easy to love the one who sinned.

There's no theist lobby to appeal to, and nobody cares about palestine here. Frankly I don't care what the apes do in the privacy of their desert nor should I, and since we have no kosher food I also have that NOT to worry about. Nice try though. :>

The bible itself disagrees with your comment. Anyway - if God were obvious then how would we be his slaves? How would our free will be gone?
