I wish I'd bought the app when it was cheap on offer, it's just gone up to £10 how annoying! Probably very much worth it but I can't afford such expensive apps at the moment. Maybe after my holiday I will treat myself if I have any money left at all!

@SpencerBenedict2nd Nice incoherent ramblings. The bible discredits itself without any ones help, have you actually read it? This app is about what can actually be observed in the real natural world. I bought this book a few hours ago and it's great. I could hardly put my kid to bed. It's full of interactive stuff that explains things in a playful manner. For example you have to breed frogs over 5 generations so they have longer legs and they can escape the snake in the wild. Recommended!

Apple's ecosystem is stable and predictable. Google's is fragmented and chaotic, and at the mercy of technological natural selection.

That's not bad, just different. But it does mean that it's a heck of a lot easier to get an iPad app out of the door before an Android one.

Anyway, congratulations and thanks to Mr Dawkins and his team for a great book and a great app. May its content and message permeate all ecosystems, tablet or otherwise.
