  • from the NY Times

a $10,000 investment in the S.& P. stock market index* would have grown to $11,733 if invested under Republican presidents only, although that would be $51,211 if we exclude Herbert Hoovers presidency during the Great Depression. Invested under Democratic presidents only, $10,000 would have grown to $300,671 at a compound rate of 8.9 percent over nearly 40 years.

    My take: Vote democrat!

  • I agree with you, Bush Sr, was the least destructive out of all of them, if I had been alive in '88 I would've voted for him because lets face it Dukakis sucked, he was worse than Kerry, but I think I would've went Clinton/Gore in '92. "Reaganomics" or as Bush 41 called them in 1980 "VooDoo" economics had to end. I'd agree Bush Sr was better than Reagan, and W but some of Nixon's policies were better than Bush 41, overall Clinton was the best president since Eisenhower.

  • As much as I blame Bush for his War on Terror, Clinton's response to terrorism wasn't much better. He reneged on many opportunities to get Osama. We kept getting attacked by the terrorists, but he had no real strong response to take them down. America also got attacked in HIS first year in office (1993 WTC Bombing), just like Bush's first year.

  • Good grief, name one example that isn't a false myth. His anti-terrorism operations were often called "distractions" by the Republican Congress- who were busy fabricating genuine distractions of their own.

  • Clinton was one of the better DNC presidents in the 20th Century, but he still did a lot of crappy things. He started this whole "let's encourage banks to give bad loans to people who can't afford them to buy houses" nonsense that expanded and caused the housing bubble to burst by signing the Community Reinvestment Act in 1999. He got us involved in unnecessary, unconstitutional peacekeeping missions out the ass, including the Kosovo nonsense. Waco was a disaster. Did nothin to prevent OKC.

  • Waco was botched at the beginning but I don' t believe that Clinton had anything to do with the initial raid.

The siege may have been mishandled but, in the end, Koresh killed himself and the others in the compound - not the government. Koresh could have surrendered at any times and received a fair trial.

Nobody knew OKC was coming - not even you... LOL

  • Yeah, a lot of GOP presidents sucked, but so did the Democrats. Wilson was a joke, and we never should've gotten involved in WW1. Not to mention his huge expansions of gov't power during the war were outrageous and dictatorial, to say the least. FDR was a joke, too. His New Deal did nothing to get us out of the war and actually ended up prolonging it. We could've easily gotten out of the Depression in less than a decade without the ND. Carter was incompetent. LBJ-Vietnam.

  • FDR a joke?

    He was re-elected 3 times.....

  • The real sad thing is that only about 22 or 23 states, if I recall, are open shop. Over half of all the states in the country don't let you choose to be in the union. It's madness! I don't care if the union will "make me wealthier" in my job and get me benefits. Let me decide if I wanna join ON MY OWN! There's no reason for union bosses to decide that kind of crap for me.

And I don't see why we still haven't passed a law FORBIDDING unions from using dues for campaigns. It's insane.

  • Typical Right-Wing tactic smear, smear, smear. The Right in this country has called Obama everything from a Godless Socialist, to an Islam-o-Fascist, (whatever the Hell that is?) The smear worked on John Kerry, remember Swift-Boat Liars Against Kerry? The Republicans called Kerry a Coward, when he was the one who had the Gutts to go to Nam and fight. Bush's rich Senator Grandfather got him into The Guard. Back then, you got in The Guard, you weren't shipped to Vietnam.

  • Funny how this poster doesn't allow his comments to be scrutinized as either bad or good.

    Typical left-wing tactic.

They will criticize and censor till they're blue in the face but can't stand to look in the mirror.

  • The problem with allowing comments is that The Typical Rightwing tactic is to smear me or other people who disagree with them...

The upshot is that EVEN RONALD REAGAN was a failure as president - he ushered in the decline of unions, American jobs and huge deficit spending.

  • Well, considering most Americans have never been union members for the majority of unions' lifetime, your argument isn't as strong. The highest union membership was about 1/3rd of all the workforce! That means 2 out of every 3 workers DIDN'T WANT to be in a fucking union. They didn't want this closed shop BS where unions grab hold of all the workplaces they can and force all new employees to pay dues and use their dues for campaigns of candidates THEY DON'T LIKE. That's unamerican.

  • Actually, for all Reagan's faults, his administration had pretty good job growth. We had, if I recall, 25-30 million or more new net jobs. Wealth creation was visible in ALL sectors of society, not just the rich. Get your head out of your ass. The job losses in the 80s b/c of outsourcing were very small compared to today. Besides, manufacturing is just one small segment of jobs. We still have lots of high-paying service jobs where real skills and talent are used, not just manual labor.

  • Reagan was a horrible president. The decline of the middle class and good-paying, union jobs began underReagan as Reagan's policy was to break and destroy the unions. There was a huge recession in 1982-83. Also poverty, crime and homelessness went up dramatically during Reagan's term.

Let's not forget that Reagan dramatically increased the size of government and started the huge, red ink spending - because deficits didn't matter under Reagan

  • recent republican presidents are bad? how about the recent democratic presidents? carter (CRAZY ASS LIBERAL peanut farmer),clinton (semen stained female shirt) and the socialist dictator obama bin lyin? no wonder the democratic party is a donkey because you libtards are jackasses.

  • Semen is bad, very bad...

  • peanut farming is very bad. So is helping build houses for families and poor people.

  • devintubeman is obviously one of our fellow citizens who gave the outgoing gang of criminals (Bush and Cheney) enough votes to steal the presidential election, TWICE !!! So, go pound sand, ya Right-Wing Troll !

  • The effort to undermine and destroy Labor Unions in this country peaked in the Reagan Years. In the Reagan Years America simply resended Article 23 of The Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which guarantees elementary human rights of workers, including the right to form unions. Under President Reagan, the business community launched a very successful anti-union war. Managements basic goal was to undermine the basic rights guaranteed by The 1935 Wagner Act or Labor Relations Act.

  • Wow! What a left wing kook. America's dark days are ahead of us with people like this putting a socialist like Obama in power. We can only pray that someone like Ronald Reagan comes around to serve the people again. God Bless Ronald Reagan.

  • Thanks, Ralph. The biggest scam on the American public ever has been the brainwashing of the idiot masses into believing that anything that is remotely related to socialism(anti-big business) in any form is evil and should be guarded against by ANY means, including war and mass killing.

Watch Secret Gov't w/Moyers on utube to find out all u didn't want to know about Reagan.

  • there's more evidence in support my facts than in support of your crackpot opinion. you accused him. in the legal processes of THIS country, the burden of proof is incumbent on YOU. not vice versa

  • Dude:

Reagan bankrupted the American economy - Reagan is the champion deficit spender, adding $3 or $4 trillion to the national debt (money which we still owe to foreigners and rich people BTW).

"moron" - that gets you deleted and blocked...

  • "The Russians are coming" (1)

    "The Terrorsist are coming" (2)

  • yes. barack obama PhD was born in kenya. but president barack obama JD was born in hawai'i. that's a complete non-issue. get a grip idiot

  • Uninformed democrat lemming. Rep. presidents do what leftwingers fear to do: stand on principal. Dems are do-nothing arm-chair quarterbacks. Contrary to evidence they believe in govt. Amazing. Even now, as Obama continues in the Bush doctrine, they're too dumb to see it. I figured some would object to Obama's flipflop's on taxes and the war on terror. I'm glad he's carrying on with lowering taxes and the war on terror. In this vein I hope he succeeds. That, I guess, puts us on the same side

    .

  • Just look at Nixon's and Bush's approval ratings - they're are in the basement...

BTW - Obama NEVER supported the invasion of Iraq - that was a very dumb move on the part of Bush43; Obama is getting plans for a military withdrawal from Iraq within a year's time.

  • Republicans have not changed in Ideology much since the Cold War and they seem to keep making the same stupid mistakes ever since then.

  • Nader is a loser -

too much of a loner and too old at this point

  • Give me a break!

You dont sound like a spring chicken, but what does that matter

Its the quality of his leadership capabilities..not his lone(ness) or age

  • Nader has lost 3 times for president - he can't/ isn't serious.

    Give ME a break..

  • Yes, I used to be a Republican and I was one since 1982. I probably would have stayed loyal if not for Bush's ineptness. However, with Obama we're going from the frying pan straight into the fire itself.

  • Obama earned the presidency -

Bush had it handed to him by his father and the rich, Republican party.

  • I disagree as I have a longer memory than most Americans. I paid a great deal of attention to the exit polls during the primaries and Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich would regularly come out on top, but the news would report Hillary, Obama and McCain. Even Rush Limbaugh broke with the establishment -- for one day! -- to announce he thought the numbers were rigged as McCain was polling fewer than 3%, but he won the Party's nomination anyway?

  • Obama was not supposed to win - not even the Democrat nomination. Hillary was supposed to win the Democrat nomination. Most of the top Dems in my state had endorsed Hillary before Iowa; Hillary had raised a ton of money; the Des Moines Register and the NYTimes (among other newspapers) had endorsed Hillary.

OBAMA EARNED IT... he out-campaigned Hillary and Kucinich..

  • Nope. Obama was hand picked by the central bankers and that made him the Federal Reserve's boy and I knew he would win even before Hillary knew, I suspect. I like you and you get a lot right, but you're very naive with regard to today's elections.

My sister works in my county's Elections Division and she says that it's obvious to her that the elections are rigged and done so outside of the county's Elections Division control.

  • Nope. Obama was hand picked by the central bankers

    @@@@

Why wouldn't the central bankers back Hillary? and Giuliani??

    LOL

BTW if the elections were rigged then Doc Paul and Kucinich can take it to court... or the media... or the internet...

  • Let's face facts: none of the non-Council on Foreign Relations members had a real chance. I can't say Obama "earned" anything when in fact the game was rigged from the word go. Earning and fraud are two separate issues here.

  • George Bush43 was never on the CFR and knew nothing about them when he was governor of Texas. GWB was clueless about foreign policy when he came into the presidency.

Can I warn you, that have I heard these same, tired, stale and, frankly, incorrect talking points from the Ron Paul fanatics which I have heard for over one year now.

The PNAC/Rummy/Cheney started this war in Iraq not the CFR see:

CFR vs. PNAC: NEO-CONS ARE REPUBLICANS - in the Bush Administration

    /watch?v=7IStPV8gApA

  • I suggest:

    1. never stop fighting the 2008 election--Obama's bogus birth certificate concealing the fact that he was born in Kenya and therefore constitutionally disqualified from the office he has stolen.

    2. never stop trying to locate the source of those millions of dollars that were slipped into Obama's pocket over the internet, from what source no one yet knows.

    3. Never let Obama forget that he won by stealing three key states through millions of fraudulently registered votes.

  • Obama won the election (fair and square)

    Obama was born in Hawaii

    get over it...

    work on 2012...

  • Nope. I am a retired our correctional Officer (prematurely so thanks to a work related back injury that required surgery) and I know when someone's being evasive and Obama has hired at least three (that I know of) law firms to HIDE FROM PUBLIC SCRUTINY his original birth certificate - and he keeps changing his story as to why.

    Evasiveness is dishonesty.

One of Israel's leading document experts says the online certificate is photo shopped, but I can see you prefer the comforts of denial.

  • Obama was born in Hawaii, where his mother was living - of course.

The Wing Nuts have challenged this in court three times and lost three times...

  • No, you mean the corrupt judicial system covered for Obama each time and the mindless masses simply accept the dust up as somehow being proof he was born in Hawaii when Barry's own grandmother used to say he was born in Kenya.

At this point of your living in denial, I can't help but notice you cherry pick what you're going to reply to as you were totally evasive about Hawaii's governor sealing Obama's birth certificate.

Why is that? This time, try to do some (new) research if you have to.

  • No, you mean the corrupt judicial system covered for Obama each time

    @@@@

I mean the corrupt judicial system there to protect powerful white people like Hillary Clinton..

    you're clueless.. bye

  • TheDemonPazuzu asked me to thank you for forfeiting the debate by blocking him. My own thoughts are that anyone who tries to "win" a debate by blocking someone is a moral coward, Ralphdraw3.

No need to block me as I don't want to have anything to do with a liberal blowhard who's also a moral coward living in total denial. Well, you can if you want to as I don't give a tinker's damn.

  • Hey, thanks for watching..

and I love grand conspiracies in which powerful white folks in the courts promote and protect an unknown, young, black politician from a strangely humble family... it all makes wonderful sense..

  • Comment removed

  • You seem to be a racist..

    DISMISSED...

  • By the way, I rated this 2 stars because you do have some important facts that many miss. But it's too biased.

Cheney and Rumsfeld are part of a group who believe the way to secure prosperity for themselves and Americans is through intervention.

Intervention in OUR lives, in foreign countries, etc. They are fascist.

Yet, Clinton's administration started the path towards national ID, bombed Iraq for years, warred in Serbia, Africa.

Carter's presidency was secured by the same people as Clinton.

  • Paul was a Reaganaut, until the Reagan administration doubled the size of the Department of Education in the first year.

Paul left congress and the Republican party, and ran against Reagan in the 1988 election!

Paul mentioned this at the Reagan Library in a 2008 presidential campaign debate, when everyone was venerating Reagan.

By the way, Cheney and Rumsfeld were both involved in government during the Clinton administration, too. You neglect that they and all presidents since Nixon were CFR.

  • Paul ran against Reagan in 1988?? That's not right: Reagan did not run for president in 1988 - George H. W. Bush ran and won. Bush41 was president for one term. from 1989-1993

  • Whoops! You are right. He ran against Bush I.

He did leave the House in 1984, though.

But, the real evidence that Paul was not a strict supporter of Reagan (once the campaign promises were broken) is the voting record.

  • According to Wikipedia, in 1984 Ron Paul stayed in the Republican party and, in fact, ran for U.S. Senate!!! But Ron Paul lost to that other Texas Republican winger, Phil Gramm. Gramm wins the primary and the general.. becoming Senator.

Ron Paul is out in the cold... holding no political office in 1985

  • It is sad what you say is true. Republican values have changed since the national defecit grows in each Republican term. Government has to regulate and protect a nation as a whole and to standardized education + US Consitution Law. Or we become ruled by our states and are not a United States.

  • haha I completely agree, it seems like they have purposely tried to destroy the republican brand and force people to join the democraps.

  • The new game plan with Palin and Ann Coulter

  • How about Palin/Joe-The-Plumber in 2012 ??? The ticket for average Americans..

  • Excellent exposure, love the pictures, nice work! Bush and congress killed Americans 911 Inside Job, and they are control by the Rothchild Dynasty who also controls Israel. I think the Antichrist=Rothchild Dynasty, once they dominated the world under any type of gov. their goal is to have the Anti-Christ control the world, we need to protest all wars, promote peace.

  • John F. Kennedy got us into the Vietnam War. Nixon got us out!

Carter drove the U.S. economy into the ground; people had to wait in gas lines for HOURS and were only allowed half a tank. Ronald Reagan fixed the mess Carter made. Carter only served one term for a reason.

Bill Clinton had affairs with 19 year girls and did NOTHING for 8 years! He let Bin Laden go thus giving us 911. Lies under oath and was impeached.

Bush1 and Bush2 just did everything the Dems asked.

  • You must be seeing at least a dozen therapists. We had an energy crises because the Arabs cut production.Reagan and Bush 1 borrowed and spent us into a deep recession.Clinton got us out of the recession and was reducing the debt.Dumbya, balooned the debt and you know it,as for lying about a blow job,who cares?Clinton killed some sperm with his lie,Dumbya has killed real people with his.

  • Oh, I think Bush sucks. I'm a libertarian, both of those parties are bad news to me. It's just funny how people can only see the fault of the OTHER party and not their own. Bush couldn't do anything without the approval the Dems and you know it.

I just wrote that so maybe you would face the reality the Dems are no better. We need more "change" than these twin evil parties can ever offer.

For now I'm giving Obama the benefit of the doubt. We shall see.

  • Actually,I used to be republican back when they supported small business and didn't seem to hate the poor and dis-advantaged.Ike was probably the most honest president of my lifetime. If you read my site,I really am a fiscal conservative, but am also a rabid social liberal.I also believe in individual freedom. The repug party of today doesn't meet any of those criteria, and although the Dems are lacking in certain areas, they are the lesser of 2 evils.

  • "...although the Dems are lacking in certain areas, they are the lesser of 2 evils."

Lesser EVIL is a good way to describe it. Evil just the same.

I don't want government being a social anything, just like I don't want government to impose a state run religion on us. I want limited government and Dems are anything but limited when it comes to government. And you think the dems are more fiscally conservative??? Take a look at CA. Just the opposite, imo.

  • What is truely evil are people who shove old people out on the street, that create a homeless class, with a lot of them being Vets.I can now tell that you are one of those

paulbots who make Reagan and Bush look like pikers when it comes to helping the poor and dis-advantaged.Thank God there is only a handfull of you.Although you may rule You Tube and minus dissent you will never rule my country with your 18th century ideas.

  • What are you talking about? I want to help the poor more than anyone like you do. You think that if the government takes all our money the poor will get it? You're a fool, Just the opposite is true. The rich get it and poor gets peanuts.

Private charities, churches, family, friends have always been more effective than any government bureaucracy at helping the poor. I want to empower those people.

It's you that supports 18th century tyranny. You are part of the problem. Wake up.

  • Spoken like a true mindless idiot.Tell me how that volunteerism worked during the Great Depression?People were starving to death in the streets.WW1 vets, promised a Bonus were fired on and killed in the streets.Read a fucking history book, you sound just like Reagan and Paul.Reagan created the homeless with his fuck the poor attitude the churches or the rich will help, well they didn't and they won't.

  • There are homeless people around today and what is the government doing to help them? Nothing! Unless being harassed by the police is help.

You see the problem is people like you sit on there ass waiting the "government to do something". While people like myself realize its not the governments problem IT's OURS. So volunteer, make a donation DO SOMETHING!!! Other than wait for some government leader to fix it.." That concept has NEVER worked and NEVER will! You're useless to the poor.

  • You volunteer? Great! where, BTW? I do volunteer for various organizations.

Besides volunteering, I also make videos!

  • Normally I help with the can drives and contribute to shelter programs. Last year me and friend helped one homeless person go back to school and get of the streets permanently. It almost takes that kind of one on one attention to help most of these people. Ive found that many dont really want help, and those that do can be hard to work with. But they are not all hopeless people Ive seen first hand. Give someone a fish and feed them once, teach them to fish and feed them for life.

  • I help with friends and neighbors but my state - Michigan - has the highest unemployment rate in the country. Here, even if you teach people to fish, there are no fish in the rivers and lakes to be caught.. the economy is flat on its back. People are just leaving the state.

  • "...the economy is flat on its back. People are just leaving the state..."

The economy is a huge problem. I could see this coming way back in 2005 when the housing market was already overinflated and they lowered interest rates to push the market higher. Made no sense and clearly was going to crash hard at some point. Here we are and the shockwave has hit the entire economy. Everyone in government, was cheering the bubble on. Except for Ron Paul who did warn us.

The Republicans in power don't listen to Ron Paul on the economy and they don't listen to Paul on the war.

  • "The Republicans in power don't listen to Ron Paul on the economy and they don't listen to Paul on the war."

Ron Paul is about the only true conservative in the Republican party. The rest are mostly just "neocons" or socialists/globalists, whatever they are I wish would all go away. Time for new guards to "represent" us.

  • Ron Paul is about the only true conservative in the Republican party. The rest are mostly just "neocons" or socialists/globalists, whatever they are I wish would all go away. Time for new guards to "represent" us.

Really? Well, perhaps Ron Paul is in the wrong political party...

  • "Really? Well, perhaps Ron Paul is in the wrong political party..."

That is maybe true. However, as Dr. Paul is quick to point out there is a two party monopoly. Third parties are mostly ignored by the media thus have no chance of winning. Therefore Dr. Paul believes change must come from within the two controlling parties and thats what he is about. Peace, Mike

  • Therefore Dr. Paul believes change must come from within the two controlling parties

    @@@@

Then Doc Paul has A LOT of work ahead of him in COMPLETELY MAKING-OVER HIS GREEDY, ROTTEN, PATHETIC, POLITICAL PARTY..

    peace,

    RD3

  • Plenty of that from both sides. Got to start somewhere and at least Dr. Paul is trying. From my perspective both parties are about the same, I don't care which is in control. We lose no matter what "GREEDY, ROTTEN, PATHETIC, POLITICAL PARTY" is in power.

Both parties belong to the same club, they pass the ball back and forth to make us think "change" is coming. It's just a game there will be no change. More of the same. Watch.

  • Neither Clinton nor Gore were in bed with the oil companies, the Saudies, the Carlyle Group, friends with the COE's of companies like Enron or were they CEO's of big defense contractors (such as Halliburton - KBR)

  • Nixon, didn't get us out.Ford got us out.

  • "Nixon, didn't get us out.Ford got us out."

Ford was kind of the rooster taking credit for the morning. Nixon was reducing the troops the whole time he was in toward the goal of getting out. Ford just got to finish the job.

  • Nixon, didn't get us out.Ford got us out.

I know that Nixon and Kissinger threw together a "peace agreement" with North Vietnam (at the last minute) right before the 1972 election. I don't know how long after that, that American troops finally got out of 'Nam - 1974? or 1975?

  • As a Vietnam Vet Ralph,Nixon and Kissinger brokered an agreement,to basically put their tail between their legs and run.his so called peace with honor was a sham.Hell we didn't even get all our POW's back.Nixon left office in 74,and Saigon didn't fall until 75.Over 58,000 dead and 200,000 wounded,Nixon basically surrendered, knowing the south had no belly to fight.

  • Both Presidential Candidates in 1968 - Nixon (Rep) and Humphrey (Dem) - promised to end the war and get out of Vietnam. The country wanted out of that war. Nixon promised "peace with honor". Nixon dragged the war on for another 4 years (invading Cambodia, too), until - I believe - October 1972, on the eve of the presidential election when Kissinger announces a peace agreement with North Vietnam

I regard Nixon's handling of Vietnam as much a crime, probably worse crime, as the Watergate junk.

  • We were financing the French in Vietnam way back in the mid 50's. JFK took it up a notch, then LBJ, then Nixon.

From 1956-1964 (including ALL of JFK's presidency 1961-1963), there were 401 military casualties.

    401

It ended (1975) with 58,000+ casualties. Johnson lied of course, but less we forget, about half of the deaths were on Nixon's watch. Nixon's "secret plan" to end the war quickly (1968) ended up being a campaign gimmick.

  • "..JFK took it up a notch..."

Yes, he increased our involvement to a level where our "advisors" were really combat assistants. So it was no surprise LBJ had in a full scale war. But Johnson could have backed away from the escalation but chose not to. Back then the fear was the communists were going to take over the world and therefore we must act.

Nixon should have just pulled the troops out I agree. Like all campaign promises it wasn't so easy once he was actually in office.

  • Just one minor correction: It was Bush 41, not Reagan, who invaded Panama and arrested "the dictator Noriega." (Of course, let's not forget about all the other dictators that the Reagan/Bush people propped-up for years: The Shah of Iran - whom we installed to begin with, Batista in Cuba, Marcos in Phillippines, Somosa in Nicaragua, Augusto Pinochet in Chile - whom we also installed, and - surprise, surprise! - Saddam Hussein in Iraq...that is, of course, till we was about to trade in Euros.)

  • Don't forget Ike.Ike signed the SEATO treaty, thus committing the first troops or as they were called then advisers to Vietnam. He also was as responsible for the Bay of Pigs disaster which JFK later got the blame for.

  • Interesting; didn't know about Eisenhower and the SEATO treaty. I shall have to look that up sometime. Thanks for the info!

  • If I'm not mistaken, the SEATO treaty was signed after the French were kicked out of Vietnam.I would have to look it up but I believe the French left in 1953 or early 1954.These repugs, can try an re-write history all the fuck they want, but my uncle was in Vietnam in 1955 as an advisor,JFK,didn't become president until 1961.

  • The Repugnicunts have been trying to deify Reagan for years, when in reality,he was the orginal borrow and spender, and the destroyer of our industrial jobs. All Dumbya has been is Reagan on steroids.

  • So true...

  • Republicans have indeed been quite bad since they turned conservative(after Roosevelt.)

However the democrats havn't been that fantastic either(I am looking at you Johnson.)

  • Actually,LBJ submitted the last balanced budget in 1968,and he did it fighting a war and spending on various programs to help the poor. The economy was also very good then.

  • You mean the Lyndon Johnson who signed the Civil Rights act?

  • Why are you all settling for second best rather than electing someone who is actually good. Them dems have kuccinch and thats it. Republicans have ron paul, the indepedants no doubt have a few folks like nader and such like.

Apathy for politics is ruining society.

  • Ron Paul is warmed over Reagan -

in fact, Ron Paul led the Reagan charge..

  • Yeah nobody is perfect but i dont think ron paul is the sheep you make out.

I really like your activism, the way you phone up congressman or senators and question there stances is honourable, but i feel you tend to not make alot of suggestions on how to amend the current situation.

Example being the bailout, it is clearly not the way forward for america when you listen to those who predicted it like peter schiff or jim rogers.Yet obama listens to people who got it wrong, whats your stance?

  • I don't believe in bailing out companies which pay the executives $10's of millions of dollars even when the company's are going bankrupt.

I don't believe in giving money to companies that will take the money and invest it in plants abroad (like China).

I am - at this point - in favor of the government investing in infrastructure, alternative energy, research and education. This will not only give jobs - but will help society in the future.

  • Paul Krugman said this was coming 7 years ago,Shiff and Rogers were about 6 years late to the table.

  • YAY! nixon lives! As long as he is around to kick more, I am happy.

  • I'd take four more years of Nixon over the eight years of Dubya any day.

  • Nauseating as this is for me to say, so would I. And I would take 8 years of Osama bin Laden as Prez over the Reagan years. The damage inflicted by ronny raygun may be the death of America.
