Does the thermite burn through the bottom of the pot or only goes through the hole? I have "experimented" with thermite myself, but I never took the effort to get a pot.
The suspended pot with a hole is a new idea for me, I've either done the thermite demo in a foil lined depression in the sand tray or in suspended fluted filter paper over a a large beaker with sand and water in it. Is it a special kind of resistant pot or just a flower pot?
What stone was that at the end?
