@G2xTuts Just change settings of the traction system to turn a 4WD into a FR...Just put 100% of the traction on the rear wheel and you'll get real Drifting style!
@rl9010 S1s FTW! Coupled with the proper Front-Rear torque distribution == greatness. To bad you can't use your tuned settings in time trial though....
hey rl9010, i don't know if ur into any motorsports in real life. How close do u think this( G25 + GT5 ) comparing to real life. I just started doing autocrossing and the back of my car always gets loose and comes around, i wonder if getting this to practice will help me get better in real life. please reply, thx
Sick drifting! Just got into it, and as you can imagine i really suck!
My biggest problem is keeping the drift. Why is it I kill the drift, I keep my foot on the gas. Is it because I have too much steering input? I am basically almost opposite lock.
It's just like the dfgt...FFB is the same...I don't understand the question if it is hard to steer with...It's a steering wheel like the others...The difficulty in steering a dfp and dfgt or g25 is the same.
i doubt you had the 3 wheels to compare them at the same time, I heard DFGT was almost the same as a g25 force feedback wise and I tried a G25 and its WAY better then a DFP and the fact its smaller makes it even harder to drift with, its crazy to say the difficulty level is the same because its just soo easier with a g25 and the right settings/mods
READ I never said I had all three..I do have two out of the mentioned above...And the newer wheels are better...But that in no way affects the "steering Difficulty"....If you think it's the equipment....I say faulty user.
im not sure what you mean, you agree that the wheels are better but you dont agree it makes them a little easier to use since its better equipment, but i had a hard time with the clutch at first with the g25 so i say if you wanna keep it real, the easiest wheel to go with is dfgt then g25 and dfp are equal because they each have their own difficulties
The wheel I was using is in 900* mode...It isn't a crappy wheel...it's a well used DFP...I have upgraded...However, it's not what you use...it's how you use it.
mint pal, was wondering what ur bhp and weight settings are? and have have you changed anyother settings? I can get around the 12500 points with same car an track, any hints? cheers
nice drifting, i got the DFP steering wheel aswell and use the 270 degree mode instead of 900 degree and its great, i managed to keep the car sideways the whole way around suzuka that way even the straights from one side to the other, much better response.
It's a combination of both. You can see the inputs in the driving screen. There are two bars that are gas and brake. You can clearly see what I am doing with the inputs.
The only way to drift a 4WD car is to gas it all the way . If you let go , or even ease off it . It will gain traction .. Enough said ;P .

Drifting is so 90s....only white ppl still think it's cool. I mean, drifting is no big deal, cuz that's the only way to drive for me haha.

i just started drifting, but i don't know how to tune the impreza. how do you tune it, like what kind of tires, camber, etc...?
cilicon 3 years ago
The car I used does not have any tuning done. It is stock settings on n3 tires.
rl9010 3 years ago
wow quick reply O_O
i tried the car with N3 tires and i don't spin out anymore ^___^. Thanks a lot !!!
cilicon 3 years ago
Make sure your traction control and GSA is not on or you will never be able to drift

but i have a question...
is the dfp hard to steer with?
and is the FFB very slow or weak?
