They voted for the girl because very rarely do you see girls on the same level of skill or winning championships. They felt they were doing something for the progression of beatboxing and inclusion of more females in the artform.

At least because of this, if you were one of the top beatboxers in the final judging, you wouldn't feel cheated because you'd know the judging of the winner was a crock of shit.
