I have a problem. My computer doesn't recognize my new burner. What did I do wrong. I basically put the dvd burner, connected the data cable which is sharing both the cd burner and the dvd burner as well as the power cord. I didn't put the audio cable cause I wasn't interested in using the headphone jack in.
I know that one drive at the top, should be master, and the bottom slave, so the computer see's it, i know this from experience, Process of elimination. thats how u learn.
You know, none of the videos like this tell you a really important step, grounding yourself. If you don't you could destroy the inside of your computer.
