He's such a beautiful person, inside and out. Saw him at a book signing and shook his hand...amazing. Reading his books just takes me to a place that I don't want to leave...the last page usually leaves me so depressed....BECAUSE it's the last page. Hope he's writing something new. I'm in Augusten withdrawal. Love ya!

I love love love Augusten Burroughs. Running with scissors was my favorite book in the world. Read it about 5 times. I have not read sellivision =( because i cant find it anywhere. But i have read all of the others and I love them! I have an autographed copy of A Wolf At The Table but unfortunately I had just missed him at the book store i was at (by about 3 months) but I got one of the last signed copies! I want to meet him still very very much.

Augusten Burroughs is my favourite writer. His audiobooks are awesome, because they're read by him, so he reads it out in exactly the way he meant them. I've listened to all his books except Magical Thinking and they are all crazy, funny, sad, and interesting.

I've listened to Possible Side Effects, Running With Scissors and Dry on audio books and to love Augusten Burroughs is to hear him read his own material. for some reason the way he talks about his father bothers me...i mean i have a terrible relationship with my father too but i don't know i still wouldnt talk about him with the public the way he does..it feels almost like exploitation. dont get me wrong,running with scissors was a brilliant book but i doubt all of it was true

I agree with many of these comments. Augusten Burroughs is just marvelous. While I'm a frequent reader, few books truly hook me in. But Dry had that effect on me. I can't wait to see what other masterpieces he will write in the future.

This man is soo amazing! Where I thought Running with Scissors was amazing, Dry completely blew me away..I wanted to see reviews of A Wolf at the Table before I bought it, but now I am convinced to purchase. He has a fantastic way of expressing his views on life, and I can relate to him and his mind. I hope I have the joy of meeting him one day, as well as Chuck Palahniuk and James Frey(I don't care if his memoirs was fabricated, still amazing books he writes, including Bright Shiny Morning)

I LOVE Augusten Burroughs and all of his books! I think my favorite was Magical Thinking...I've never laughed so hard..I was in a major rush at the book store a couple of years ago and I grabbed that liking the title and had just read the back of the book. I was Hooked...I've read all of his books and I'm almost finished A Wolf At The Table. GO AUGUSTEN! YOU ROCK! I so hope to meet him one day!! :)

he really is such a great author. the perfect type of author. my favourite at least. like he said, he doesn't lie and make stuff up. he just writes the truth of his life in a real, raw, but still artistic way. he has such an interesting style. of writing. i loved loved loved dry and bought wolf at the table just today. can't wait to read it!
