Mr Softee was the shit growing up in Brooklyn NY. i can remember many a day trying to scrounge up change to get a couple of cones! my mom used to come home from work and i'd meet her getting off the subway and the ice cream truck would be out and when it was dark it would be lit up with the neon lights! hell we would even buy our dog a cone!

This is nice to see. Kids can have the same wonderful times we had as kids in the 1960's. i remember , the inside of that truck was always a mystery ,we couldnt see inside to much. The palm Trees look strange with Mister Softee , i was from Queens , NYC. Our Mister Softee came around after dinner, and after, Bungalo Bar , and Good Humor. That truck lite up at night was pure kid magic !
