Dont worry , i didnt say this for complain. Is always very nice to see some traditional music from Québec on youtube. By the way , im glad to see someone from Holland who love Québec ;) I hope to visit your beautiful country soon! Het bier zal weer vloeien in ons Gelderland!! Salutation ;)
Ah great, trinqions les bouteilles, jammer dat ik weer hier ben, next time we should have a beer ou une bouteille du vin, you have the most fantastic wine selection at SAQ
One of the best bands in the world, no kidding. Outside the USA they are pretty well known. I saw them in New Jersey of all places, and they blew the roof off the place. I love them and I don't speak French.
I had no idea the grass was so blue in France -- or did you trick me and this was recorded in Breaux Bridge? -- all transformed by a trip through New Orleans, obviously. Great Music! Music like this deserves an audience... before Thic Nhat Hanh at Plum Sangha. ;>)
its traditional music from Quebec, a mix of celtic from ireland and french folks transformed over the time by the mix of french and irish immigrants in quebec. Only traditional music from quebec sound like that, believe me... it may sound like smthg else but it truly have a unique signature sound.
I have to precise that this version include sax, trombone and trumpet, those instrument are not usualy use in the traditional quebec folks music but it sound a little bit more complet when they record it. Thats why it have that little dixiland type of sound.
