And I couldn't do shit about him stealing my shit, like I know it was him, but I couldn't prove it to anyone and everyone thought I was just bullshitting.

@Dregkar The only good the open topped ones do is just for fast movement... For some reason this whole "maneuver warfare" bullshit was supposed to be "sooo" fast that everyone even had mobile little humvees. But when you think about it, the whole invasion took like 15 days to go 300 miles... that's only an average speed of .65 miles an hour...

I would prefer protection with an up-armored humvee than mobility with those tiny little open top humvees.

@yesiamawizardjonny Yeah man that was some straight bullshit, and just about every time we would think we were going to kick ass in a town, we would get there just to find out that the Cobras and Apaches had already blown everything to shit. Or fucking 1st Recon had already pissed off the town like 3 days before and we would get shot at like fucking crazy. (yes the same 1st Recon from Generation Kill lol)

@yesiamawizardjonny Yeah, Mattis would always send up to clean after 1st Recon, but the bright side of that was that we got to "defend" the abandoned airfield (Just outside of Ar Rifa I think?) for a couple days.

Agreed. People seem to care alot more about style than substance nowadays. It's not violent, but it's not boring either. We got great acting, some pretty great dark humor, and a pretty solid pace.
