I couldn't get mine to dry at all. I also tried making my own dew drops, but I couldn't color them with alcohol ink, just wouldn't dry.
but......I did have some success with my dye ink pad, that worked better and they actually dried......but I couldn't do a bunch at a time.....altho......I could try same method with my dye re-inker.
you know... i bought those exact same 'skittles' from michaels, and the exact same dye, and for some strange reason, i just could not get the dye to dry onto the skittle. The dye ended up drying in a dotting pattern... and was all over the paper, not on the skittles. I ended up returning them all and the dye, and im thinking of just buying them off ebay, as they are pretty cheap on there, lol. great video, just wish i could make it work out like how yours did :(
