  • what's that game? (i'm just kidding XD)

  • @dark13death You don't know?

    It's Devil May Cry 3!

  • @migsrebsaber

u should have said: "Wanna know the name"?

  • @dark13death Oh right! The ending of DMC3! Yeah; I remember that line! I just forgot to use it. LOL!!

  • what is the name of the song??

  • Sure Dante would have been a clerig, but his temper won't be subdued.

  • who would win in a gunkata fight, Dante or Preston from Equilibrium?

  • @HavocMayhemChaos dante's pretty much invulnerable

  • @HavocMayhemChaos probably Dante, Preston may arguably be better at the gunkata, but Dante's pretty much invincible. He's been shot in the head many times and merely shrugged it off.

  • best action game

  • I didn't know about gun kata before this, thanks. The only one I knew of was gun ballet.

  • SWEEEEET !!!!!

  • lolll just like gunkatas, dante's guns seem to have insane clip sizes xD

and that's ignoring the fact that they have infinite ammo in-game

  • What's da title of the BGM?

    Damn Badass!!

  • Too bad those guns shot fucking peas in the games.

  • @0NoName9 actually have u tried in corporating dem in dantes combos? gunslinger would help

  • And Christian Bale came from no place and show Dante how is done.

Because he is Batman and Jesus.

  • SAME HERE

  • which devil may cry this is?

  • I guess it's 1 or 2

  • @MrSandman93

    It look like DMC 1

  • its dmc 3, with dante form the 1st dmc costume unlocked

  • has to be 3. u can tell by how big the flame from the pistol shots is...

  • @karlmalone1289 its from 1 dude, u can easily tell by his outfit

  • Lol, I thought this was gonna be Dante using "Fireworks" with his shotgun.

  • Dante: One of the best video game dudes of all time. :D

  • @Faizerino I'm not a DMC fan (only played the 4th one on PC) but a few weeks ago I ordered Dante's coat & flares/leggings from a cosplay site and have worn them nearly everywhere I went.

Say what you like about that smug prat, but Dante's got style.

  • niiiiceee BITCH!

I first saw Equlilibrium before ever playing DMC. I instantly fell in love with that movie and actually had sex with the dvd several times. And first time I sae Dante using Gunslinger Style, I immediately thought, wooow gunkata ftw!!!

  • @MassyOfSpades you fucked with the DVD?????????XDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXD

  • @ryleh8

    Indeed.

If you were a true fan, you'd understand.

That's my way to show my respect to the art. And to show true love.

  • @MassyOfSpades man ur not ok

  • Nice

  • lol i'm confused i didn't come up with this myself xD

  • Haha i didnt undastand wat u meant by gunka lOL ..but now that i seen this i undastand clearly ..so krystal Haha ...

its from that christian baile movie ..equlibrium somethin like that ...i love that movie ..

  • so?

  • i got level gun slinger

  • lol this made me wanna play dmc3 in gunsliger style

  • Christian Bale's character = John Preston, and from what I understand all Grammaton Clerics use Gun Kata.

  • r u making fun of equilibrium?

  • No, I'm making fun of DMC3.

  • ....no? -_-

  • in DMC4 they have a cutscene with gun kata's like the end battle of Equilibrium.....

    DMC ROCKS

  • in DMC 2 (i know, i know it sucked) the GunKata was WAYY better looking in that game. it looked just like it did in the movie. very cool.

  • 34 sec? all i saw only this?

  • EQUILIBRIUM huh?so that was the name of the movie,i knew it with its greek name version so i couldnt find it anywhere.trully badass.great fighting chorography

  • so far gun kata is real now the south korean swat is now introdusing this gun figthing style to its oficers for beter acurasy towards the enemy theres an actual clip on how they perform it

  • Gunkata isn't real but it's roots are vested in things from real life Gun Fights. Experienced Soldiers are able to determine the path of enemy fire and know where to counterattack. The basis of the Gunkata is a statistical analysis of possible courses of incoming fire, and knowing where to shoot and when to interrupt those paths of fire. The gunkata seems to work best when you place yourself right in the middle of possible intersecting fire as a means of reducing enemy lethality via friendlyfire

  • hm...the gun kata it is not real , but it could be in the future..although it wouldn't help you in the midle of a terrorist camp...

  • If GunKata were to become reality, then human kind mustve advanced dramaticly from our current state.

  • I suggest you watch Equilibrium. I know its not real but as said in the film it makes the gun-kata user 125% more lethal in combat, and an adversary not to be taken likely.

  • i've whatched equilibrium n times , I know what its about , gun kata , etc...you should whatch it not me..

  • People have actually trained to use Gun Kata. So in a way, it is real.

  • If impractical beyond all belief.

  • Could you post the Equilibrium clip for comparison? <_<

  • is gun kata actually a real form of fighting?

cause ive heard a lot about but never seen it from prob only from dmc3 and equilibrium

  • It's not something that existed before Equilibrium, but martial artists are trying to incorporate actual martial arts into a real life gun kata.

  • o thats pretty kewl

  • invented by kurt the director of Equilibrium.

So its real. :p Better practice it.

  • @OreoTheWolf: Well...the term "Gun Kata" may have originated with Equilibrium, but the idea of martial arts gunfighting has been around a lot longer. I seem to remember a historical fighting style using flintlocks from Korea...though obviously in that style you would only fire twice. Killing blows, as it were.

  • @OreoTheWolf FYI: A Kata is a series of martial arts moves strung together in a (usually) predefined sequence. It originates from Japanese martial arts and typically involves a weapon. I dont think it was ever applied to guns prior to Equilibrium though

  • @OreoTheWolf The close combat parts of the gun kata in equilibrium, where they are deflecting the opponent's weapon while trying to get a shot with their own, is a real form of close quarters combat taught by some special forces units.

The parts at longer range are not. Athough the principles of fast target acquisition and avoiding the most probable return fire trajectories are both sound, it's near impossible to apply them in a real firefight.

  • Well, there actually is a style similar to gun kata. It was used in feudal Japan by crossbowmen that got caught in close quarters combat while still holding their weapons. It was made to incorporate the crossbow into martial arts. The main idea behind it was to disorient or incapacitate the enemy long enough to get off a shot with the crossbow. The modern equivalant to that would be something like Jackie Chan with an M16 just smacking everyone around and taking shots while they were falling.

  • @kingkris1645 The term " Gun Katar " comes from an ancient weapon that was also called Gun Katar . It is an armblade with two pistols attached to it. Each gun has just one bullet . Fighting with this weapon required long training, up to 3-4 years. So i think thats why they picked this fighting style with firearms and close-range weapons for equilibirum for example, it shows how elite the gramaton-clerics are .

  • @kingkris1645 gunkata is real, its meant for poeple who use long rang weapons to b able to fight at a closer range

  • nice just that scene from equilibrium

  • great vid man, I suggest you to mix the Twosome Time of the pistols and Fireworks of the Shotgun, it will be Lotsa better

  • but there wasn't a shotgun in that scene of Equilibrium. and he didn't do a fireworks style move when he had a shotgun.

  • I know, but I meant that you could do that to, dunno, personal style?, still, it's a great video

  • Nice! i've seen Equilibrium

  • loved the DMC series...... realli rocked... 8D

  • In DMC3, Dante basically uses gun kata against Lady when she thinks he killed Arkham right? At least that is what it reminded me of. I had previously seen most of Equilibrium when I first played the game.

  • Yeah, he pretty much uses gun kata movements when he fights Lady.

  • ow yeah equilibrium style

  • like he was trying to shoot some guy xD

nice work! this game is very nice

  • nice, i do that all the time, on heaven n hell dificulty, it pwns

  • Yeah, I did. It was born out of my realization that Twosome Time in DMC3 was pretty much the Gun Katas.

  • I thought it was also like the twosome time--style scenes in The Boondock Saints as well.

  • Cool, :P you got the Idea from "Equilibrium" didnt you :P

  • yeha i think he/she did lol...i just saw that clip from the movie

  • Put a bit of movement in the camera with different angles, and put a bit of a dramatic pause in the part of the song where it 'tumbles.' Nice vid.

  • cool game. I'm sure some nobody from second life will copy this video with their texture stealing friend. It always happens.

  • where did you record it in the game?

  • I saw him move to the side at one point, but how do you get Dante to stay in one place so consistently? Every time I try Twosome Time he ends up twitching all over the place!

  • Just rythm I suppose. You need to keep that speed and rythm up or that constant position switching pattern will break.

  • This is the most awesome thing I've seen in a long time. You should have opened with a shotgun blast and a Free Ride on a 'door'. 5 stars!

  • I think my eyes just blew up.
