I think the "What do you want from meeeeeee" part at 0:47 the way the meeeee drags out and sort of echos as well as the type of drums used in the song sounds hauntingly like similar to the music from Akira. Although the style of vocals and guitar don't really match it gives a it a really interesting sort of disjointed feel overall. Like the music and the video are connected through a sort of dream.
