yah i love toyota trucks, theyre probaly the most dependable vehicles on earth, in my opinion not counting all that military stuff, but i live in the states and we have the tacomas and tundras instead. i personally think a hilux is better then a new tacoma nowadays. and ive only seen a hilux once and it was on the big island.

i think the hiluxs are made better since they are used internationaly. any tacoma above a 1999 model arent as good quality. in the US at least.

well, as the depth of water matters, you are right, but there is a lot of soft mud and sand at the bottom of the river which makes moving a struggle, I and many others have given it a try with many other pick-ups and SUVs and only the good ones could survive; only those who are familiar with the area know that. Anyhow, thanks for the comment
