I have the Duncan Butterfly, can i still do a sleeper?

@Mrmindmess The Duncan Butterfly can do a sleeper, but not for very long because it does not have a ball bearing axle. If you cannot get your butterfly yoyo to sleep it may be because the string it too tight around the axle and needs to be loosened up, or because you have a knot around the axle.

@chowderzmania It depends on the types of tricks you are working on. Thin responsive yoyos like the Dominator are good for looping. Wide yoyos like the Luminator are better for string tricks.

i have a question why dont you guys make unresponsive yoyos with bind returns doesnt it improve the performance?

@palmerch99 We currently sell an Unresponsive mod for the Luminator and we are also working on an metal unresponsive yoyo.

However, strictly speaking, you are right, unresponsive yoyos do have better performance. At the same time, if you are just learning, an unresponsive yoyo can be quite frustrating. These yoyos are designed for people getting into yoyoing. If someone wants to progress further with these yoyos they can mod their luminator to make it unresponsive.

@robertcsegedi1 The trick before the trapeze is the pinwheel. The trick before that is the Brain-Scrambler (aka Brain Twister) and a reverse flip.

@jamaika112 I have only used a prototype of the yyf whip, but I have to say that it was pretty impressive for the price. If you have already been learning on a wood yoyo I have a feeling you will be quite pleased with the whip as an upgrade. It is a nice gateway to more advanced yoyoing.

@somey101 There are tons of great yoyos out there, it all depends on your level of skill. Depending on how good you are already, that will determine the best yoyo for you to use.

I have the luminator....and love it, it's my begginer yoyo....it's a great yoyo and I know what I went for....I wanted to learn several trciks and I knew very well that the butterfly shape of this yoyo is made for tricks....it was a worthy buy

I got my luminator for 2 bucks at walgreens (cheaper than the imperials) And thats a good deal at least i think. these yoyos will probably get people into yoyoing and upgrade into better yoyos though since im still a beginner im sticking with my luminator

Had an epic fail with my Dominator today. Had an hour's worth of use, went to do a regeneration, and it kissed the ground. Axle hub/bearing seat cracked, now the yo's a paper weight. Had some decent hopes for this yo. Let's just say the Dominator got dominated...

The Originator, being a brain yoyo, will only sleep if you throw it fast enough. If you do not throw it with enough spin then the clutches inside will not release the axle to spin freely. Also, it is possible that the yoyo is screwed together to tightly. Try loosening it up a bit to see if it will sleep.

@yoyomonster100 As the official endorser of the Peter Fish line of course I would recommend that you should get a pair of Dominators. :) Seriously though, If you are looking to get serious about looping and/or two-handing you could get the ultimate two-handers kit on YoTricks that comes with everything you need to setup your yoyos exactly the way I use them to teach all these tricks. If you are satisfied with the Sunsets stick with them, they're great, but I'm sure you will love the Dominators.

@Karl23extreme You're right. The Illuminator is a fourth Peter Fish yo-yo that is just like the Luminator except that it has multi-colored lights. I will have to release a new video for the Illuminator to show off what it looks like.
