This is exactly what America needs...a moderate...a center guy....right wing loons don't like Mike, because he is not a mere talking point machine like Palin...but let me tell you if the GOP nominates this guy for 2012, they will win on a landslide....I know tons of independents who supported him and still do...Go Huck!

Fair Tax has gained giant strides since Huckabee brought it to the forefront and many Senators/Congressmen are now getting on board. Huckabee is intuitive, brilliant, courageous and right on track with what this country needs to get going in an upward direction.

what does it matter if the gov't has to pay the 23% sales tax? They are paying it back to themselves! It goes back into the federal budget to be spent again. It's like income tax for federal employees; they are paying their own salaries

^Not sure if you're referring to my comment above, but if you would of read my comment (actually, factual quote) first, you would see that it shows that Huck's record on taxes are terrible as governer of Arkansas! And yes, I agree, the fair tax is way out there and will probably never see the light of day. I am NOT a Huck supporter by any means.

Huckabee is fooling you slow learners. THere is so much stupid about the FT - here is one biggie. THey charge the government this same sales tax - on all purchases. They have to, for the 23% to work. But the government cant pay it. If a jet cost 1 billion, they will have to pay 1.23 billion for it. Military spending is maybe trillion a year. They cant pay a tax without raising the money needed to pay it. DUH. DUH. So the rate cant be 23%. This FT is lunacy.

I shudder to think how many Americans there are who don't think it is ok for themselves to be robbed at gunpoint, but it is ok if it is done to others if it benefits themselves.

Medical care: tax money spent to educate doctors who then charge so much for their services that those "taxpayers" cannot afford the fruits of the doctors' skills.  FDA paid for by voluntary contributions of big Pharma, in order to monopolize the drugs and charge high prices.

I think it is another scam thought up by scam artists who are wanting the "People" to agree to being ripped off because the truth of the Federal (and state) income tax "laws" (that they are being misapplied since in reality, those so-called "laws" do not apply to most of us) is coming to light, and the lies are being exposed.
