Longboards weren't before skateboards. Sure, the original skateboards didn't look like your (now) traditional street decks, but they were still skateboards. Longboards are skateboards. It's a plank of wood connected to four urethane wheels by a pivot based turning system. That applies to street decks, slalom, downhill decks, dancing decks, whatever. Longboarding isn't a word.

@MrJoey2miles I would go for the Killswitch. Its symmetrical and has W concave to lock your feet in for stand up slides so its good for freeriding. Also Kevin Reimer uses this board for DH. Those wheels are great for freeride but you'll have troubles gripping a line on tight corners with them.

Actually, s9 aren't meant for freestyle, freeride, etc. S9 trys makes them to be able to withstand that but they cant.. I broke a s9 doing a old school kickflip... That's sad! And no, I am not fat!
