  • Your real diet: Smoking crack.

  • Can you eat a potato?

Why are you in a motel room?

  • Donk gorburbohotch

  • Wait... so you don't eat meat?

  • well... had you ever ever tried the Acuspeed 24 Diet (search on google)? I heard some amazing talk about it and my cousin lost crazy amounts of fat on it.

  • Where is his shirt?

  • dude you are the bomb digity!!! im eatin raw foods from now on!!!! GO RAW FOOD LIFESTYLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • what bout the meat brah?? i was told we need p~tein!!

  • @extraworldly The amino acids from vegetables are the building blocks for muscle. Gorillas, Elephants, Bulls, they all are vegetarians. Sure meat won't kill you from time to time but the antibiotic filled hormone injected crap you usually get will.

    Hope it helped.

  • Oscar, contact me! have him contact me, I wanna be his buddy so we can help each other, thank you!

  • i mentally miss the taste of the carbs,, but my body lives off the raw food

  • lol

  • FACT- there is a monkey sanctuary in Florida. People that want to keep monkeys as pets but ultimately become fed up because the monkeys are more than they bargain for always end up at the sanctuary. More than half of then come in malnourished because they are feed people food. So the sanctuary keepers put them on raw veggie food diets to get them back to health.

  • @HigherPlanes

    FACT:

Humans, while part of the great ape family, are not, in fact, monkeys. They are as closely related to monkeys as dogs are to bears. There are at least hundreds of thousands of years of evolution separating us, and our dietary needs are not the same as monkeys. Try finding a better example.

  • @Grandmaster0Gulgan FACT: you're not the same as your father. What's your point? Humans were cultivated to have different dietary needs than primates, but that's not to say that we can't survive without meat in our diet. If that's your argument, I'd love to see evidence.

  • @HigherPlanes

That ISN'T and WASN'T my argument. I'm a vegetarian myself, but that doesn't mean I eat only raw food. Humans have grown and evolved with the ability to cook for thousands upon thousands of years, and to suggest that the average human's dietary needs are exactly the same as a monkey's is just absurd. Raw food is good, but ONLY raw food can be detrimental to your health. You can eat more spinach and get more from it cooked, rather than raw.

  • @Grandmaster0Gulgan Well, for beginners, I never said that a human's diet should be exactly like a monkey's diet. I made a comment about a monkey sanctuary in Florida. And somehow from that, you got that I said monkeys should eat like humans. But anyway, I've never read real studies that show eating only raw food is detrimental to human health. All I have to go by is your word and the word of others. On a side note- I've done the raw food diet thing for several months and never felt detrimental

  • @HigherPlanes

If you weren't implying that humans should eat exactly the same as monkeys, why did you bring it up?

And I didn't say it was ALWAYS detrimental, I said it CAN be detrimental. Especially if you don't have access to a large and wide variety of different fruits and veggies. Not everyone can get more than leafy veggies and apples. It would greatly hurt them if they tried to subsist on anything less than a plethora of many varied raw foods.

  • @Grandmaster0Gulgan I was drawing a link between a diet of raw vegetables and good health (e.g. monkeys that felt detrimental after being on a modern human food diet were placed on a raw vegetable diet to restore health.) Honestly, I'd love to see real studies, if there are any, showing that cooking food destroys health enzymes. It's a tough job discerning who tells the truth because everyone has a vested interest.

  • @HigherPlanes

I agree. I honestly go out of my way to get fresh food and cook it myself, because I agree that the modern diet of most humans is absolute shit. And it's not so much the it destroys food enzymes, as much as it chemically changes them to another chemical. It really depends on the method of cooking.

  • @Grandmaster0Gulgan Tell me about it. I stay away from boxed foods like the plague. So many chemicals it's incredible that shit doesn't glow in the dark. I guess the best thing is to stay as close to nature as possible, until this raw food/cooked food debate is settled.

  • @HigherPlanes

Yeah. Generally speaking, the less processed, the better. Bu, there is one food that's very processed that is always a good idea.

    Homemade bread.

  • Reminds me of Jesus on the cross.

  • @elwell52 no he looks like Cesare Borgia, Jesus didnt look like that, thats the picture of Satan posing as Christ .. google image : Cesare Borgia the pope's illegiitimate son, davinci was hired to paint as Christ... droppin some knowledge on ya

  • "I wanna kiss pretty girls" Eehh?? What about Krista, you twat! Good video tho :-)

  • @MsVenaLuna EGOMAN! he has alot of sense, but is so narcassistic. Krista is hot too!

  • @Youmukrandax123 It is hard to be humble when you are as cool as I am!

  • @liferegenerator yeah, you are cool, but doesnt it bug Krista when you say you wanna kiss pretty girls? Just want to kiss Krista, see is hot and not superficial!

  • @Youmukrandax123 It does not bug Krista when I kiss pretty girls but I get kinda bothered when she kisses a hot guy... I have a lot of room for spiritual growth I guess!?

  • @liferegenerator hehe, I cant imagine that she would want to kiss someone else! LOL! I think its good she feels so secure. Yeah I guess we all have alot of work to do on this purgatory realm. I remember hearing you read a course in miracle? I did that book too! The lessons really helped me to get a good concentration for meditation, and defo opened up some light in my head. There are some people that carried it on, called FACIM, they answer questions on the course, but I think they are deranged.

  • @Youmukrandax123 You said I was hot the other day. You're a bastard too! I hate you!! ;)

  • @MsVenaLuna Damn, busted! :-P

  • @MsVenaLuna No one understands Krista and I.....

  • @liferegenerator Are you a polygamist, or whatever that word is?

  • @MsVenaLuna I am just alive and I let God do whatever it wants to do through me, I have nothing to do with it! I am FREE!!!

  • convince anyone just send them this

  • I discover your videos today, thank you so much for your generosity and integrity . MERCI. (Penny, from France.)

  • love dan

  • mmmm... raw food workin' for you for sure.

  • So good I watched it again! Dan the man! Peace & Love

  • lol fat deer

  • WOW...great inspiration Dan!!! I can't hear it enough. Currently I'm drinking the green juices but still need to follow them with some pretzels because I am so addicted to the bread stuff I guess. I'm hoping that because I am planting the seeds of wellness that i am crowding this out. Love ya, Kate

  • BOOM! Dan, can you sizzle it? Loving your work buddy. Peace

  • As I was thinking about your vids about your bike travels an idea sparked in my mind--maybe it isn't a great idea but I'll let it rip- Imagine cross country paved bike roads--specifically for bikes--maybe they could be designed for x-country joggers and hikers & walkers also--bike ways that connect to cities north and south border to border coast to coast--that way there--no cars--maybe there could be camping space along the way--and off roads to cities & rest stops etc. just an idea share-

  • so i agree with everything you are saying but ive been on slim 4 life b4 where u eat 2meats evry day 2 veggies 2 fruits 1 fat and 2 starches yet i still continue to gain weight and that is the plan with the least amount of food and i run as well for miles and yet i still lose nothing... but yes weve killed so many people with the food weve created... sad really.

  • hahaha fat deers

  • avacados have been twistin my stomach up like crazy these days...any thoughts anyone?

  • Oh Dan...carbs are my downfall too... Never been a big meat eater, so that's super easy for me to cut out lol Especially after seeing Food Inc... omagosh... *GAG*

  • @bestestmama

Food Inc was the bottom line for me, I haven't touched meat since.

  • I STARTED RAW.THANKS DAN,LOVE OSCAR

  • Fat deer get eaten. You wouldn't see many fat people if they would get eaten.

  • you dont see a FAT DEER hahahaa..sorry thats funny :D . but great stuff dan.

  • Well said!

  • man this is the best ever dan i love it i can dig it brother god bless rock on

  • Whoa! I've never had so many replies. I was just making fun of myself for using my name. When I set up the facebook account, I didnt know to use something fanciful. Hmmm. What would I choose? Who am I, really??

  • Good luck Oscar. Great video Dan as always.

    Love, Norway.

  • I disagree on the cooking thing.

I was in the Jungle the other day, and I saw a group of Apes circled around a microwaving. I think they were cooking some Hungry-Man's.

  • i had a very sore arm that would not heal for days after i punched something very solid, i drank a 2 dark green veggie juices and in about 6 hours was completely healed and i was able to work out later that day with no problem, it works

  • We'll miss you Dan! Have fun in the desert my friend... Enjoy mother nature, enjoy the peace...

    Much love.

  • awesome video. you on fire Dan!

its the same with the Marine park: Do not feed the fish, the human food will make the fish sick" :)

  • This makes so much sense. Thanks for sharing :)

  • Am I the only person who uses my name as a youtube name? It show my ignorance/innocence when I set up the account.

Oscar, don't get hung up on 100% raw. Just do more than you did yesterday. Morning smoothies, luncheon salads, the apple/cinnamon trick works wonders. This is a no-guilt channel. Go for it, man. You have nothing to lose but pounds and sickness. And stay on the channel. We are a fun group!!

  • @SusanBessette Nope. We have nothing to hide.

  • @SusanBessette i use my real name too

  • @SusanBessette my real name is taken lol.

  • @SusanBessette I love that sentiment of "Just do more than you did yesterday." It's great!

In answer to your question, there are a few people who have their real names on youtube. I think that it's down to personal preference.

  • @rachelsdimensions The best thing I've learned is, don't take what you love away, just start 'adding in' the healthy stuff, and eating less of it, and once you start to listen to your body's energy, you'll know what the best choice is.

  • @rachelsdimensions Rachel, well said. From my experience, it has been much like that, how you'll just wake up, eyes wide open, early in the morning - ready to take on the day. It's like some viagra commercial, where you'll all chipper and ready to go! But this stuff is the real deal, no viagra, no diabetes meds, etc.. I notice a change in my skin as well, when I eat healthy. The hardest thing for me has been 'replacing' bread - I've been wrapping veggies with lettuce, seems to do the trick!

  • LOL!!! Sizzler in the toilet! Oh Dan... I'm dying laughing here. :D

You are the best! The best, the man! God you do so much for me. So much! Decomposing putrid matter... oh man, that is the best phrase ever! I love you Dan.

  • Oscar, just give it a try. You may have a snap back or two like Dan's says. However, if you pay attention, you will notice big time the difference in how you feel, in relation to what you eat. Once you note the difference, it makes it easy to go more and more raw. The feeling you have on the raw, is really indescrible, you have to feel it for yourself! Your worth a try!

  • Dan your Awesome!!!!!!! I started raw 3 weeks ago because of your videos. Very inspirational videos. Thanks!

  • I love what Dan is doing. These messages are great. I'm not gonna lie though, I get a little bit nauseous when Dan is only wearing a towel;)

  • You make a good point, but we are not animals. Animals have no need to cook their food. I am interested about raw foods, but have no clue where to start. I love bread, too. I don't know how to find a balanced meal as far as raw food goes. How would a raw rookie start on this journey? Also, did you read any books to help you? I really am happy I found your videos. It helped me get a new point of view on raw food. I truly am addicted to potato chips! That's going to be my albatross! LOL!

  • @natrlchallenge If you're starting, then take it easy....I used to eat a lot of bread too, but just incorporate more fruits/vegs and make them as raw and natural as possible. It really is simple! Smoothies, juices, salads, fruits..everything is all you need. (Yes, we are animals...we're just 'civilized' now and look down on our 'barbaric' cousins ;D)

  • Very inspirational video, especially for someone like who is trying to lose weight! Thanks Dan! You always seem to say what I need to hear :)

  • Yes raw is important. You have your eyes in front of your face like all the other carnivores! Raw is vital, does this mean raw eggs, raw meat, raw fish, raw fruit, raw veggies, soaked raw nuts/seeds. We originated on a complete diet. Dan you look slimmer and less of a hunk than you did when you started. You looked excellent on your first lot of videos. Add the raw protein on some sort and your a hot man!

  • I started juicing, about two months ago and I've lost 10 pounds without evening trying'

I think the juicing revs up your metabolism.

  • i am not suggesting that 3 orgasms a day is good necesserily , its just that a vegan diet alows one to gain relief in thisway , should that become necessery ......... would pehaps be good to nd a ay to not get so stressed in the first place .... and there for would not have to gain stress relief in this way ... peace xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  • a vegan diet helps me to stop humping myself to death ......i can have 3 orgasms a day which is a great relief along with a good baancd lifestly e otherwise ... but a vegan diet sure keeps my reprductive stuff in good order ...... the best thing to do is not over orgasm .... when it feels like its about to cause stress , stop , and oull be thankfull you did ... else it will just upset you ..... peace xxxxxxxxxxxx

  • being human is alright ... being a flower is alright just the same ...... being anything on this planet , from a rock, or a hippo / a giraffe / we all suffer and enjoy just the same but in different ways

  • i really dont think peoplewant to kill themselves ..... things in this world are born and die all the time ... from insects to humans .... its just the way of the world .......death is a nice thing to happen to us to stop us suffering whilst in the human form .... death should not be a thing to worry about

  • however , i still am suffering from headaches / anxiety atacks and bad wind etc .....so i am still a seeker ofupgrading my lifestyle to a cleaner more spiritual existance .....ayming to work more at a an orgnaic fruit and veg growing place ... therby getting loads of fresh air and easiness on the mind

  • i am not sure i can totally dig the ust because no other organism has ever cookd food , means its bad .......no other organism has managed to heat homes ......invent bikes etc etc , but those things make ife easier ........however ......in the south west of the uk now in month may , it becomes more natural to eat a higher raw food diet ......colder months .... stews are more wanted ....

  • part 2 of comment..getting ALL the vitamins / minerals and healthy fats like avocado / olive / sunflower / flax / hemp is important ... miss a few minerals or vits and it can mean the difference between having a good day and a shity day

  • i think that raw food plus i like kale which i find best lightly steemed works for me ....... if i could just get in a good amount of all the good stuff ....... realise that food is a very important factor to cope with life .... i think that is my next move ........ to make sure that i do one good full shop each week plus grow as much of my own as possible .....

  • Dan: THE BEST Video EVER!!! Right to the point. IT makes SENSE! "Ever see a fat deer?" ha-ha lol!!!

  • Hello Dan!

I just wantto say Good luck On your trip!!!

I'm kind or "worried" about your Sun exposure, porbably I'm just ignorant, but

as far as I know, you must use a SPF sun blocker greater than 50

Just take care, and enjoy as always!

    Love,

    Etherealbylar.

  • Ya know, losing weight IS hard, BUT being overweight is HARDER. I think you gave a great idea on how to think about meat... dead animals, YEW!!!! eating fresh veggies, is THE way to go for good health. I watch alot of different people on yt trying to lose weight. what they are doing, IS HARD, eating fresh.... easy....

  • "This morning, twelve hours later, I go to the bathroom. BOOM! Sizzler all you can eat salad bar..GONE!" HAHHAHHA I love you Dan, you're awesome.

  • Most people who start raw seem to struggle with an unsatisfied feeling after eating. My solution: Wild edibles in every meal! Especially with fruit. I can eat five apples and need to eat after one/two hour(s) again. Or I take two handful of herbs with two apples which lasts four to five hours. Wild edibles are the truth!

  • thankyou~with love~hugs for you and Crysta

  • my daily inspiration fulfilled, im ready to start the day with a smile thanks again dan!! love and light x

  • "when I heard about theat being a decomposing corpse it was pretty easey to give that up!" lol I lol'd when u said that so I true...

  • Meat was EASY to give up I agree. Milk, chocolate, ice cream my lovely starbucks. That's HARD to give up. Haha!

  • EXCELLENT VIDEO! You have really inspired me! Thanks!

  • nice video..i like how you said it at the end... "Oscar...do it!".

  • Life is what u make. I like that saying

  • LOVE DAN!!

  • hey Dan is milk bad for me? i live in holland so the milk is very fresh

  • @snapsnapdik

  • I'm posting this on my Facebook... Your a great Sharing soul..

  • What do you think about a little whey protein, the good one thats hormone free.

  • Inspiring, thanks. ONE LOVE

  • Hooray for Dan the Man : D xxxxxxxxxx

  • anybody tried fresh peppermint in their veggie juice? I'm having some now it's yum. I also have some cilantro and carrot greens in there too :)

  • Loved this video in particular, Dan. :) You're such an inspiration.

  • Freaken Firme!!!

  • I no longer have cravings for processed sugars. I am less addicted to meat, hopefully my addiction to grain is next.

    WTG Dan you're the man!

  • You're killer, Dan. Much love goes out to you - enjoy that desert, brother.

  • Ha Haaa! Great Message Dan! You are looking very ripped and healthy my friend... it has definitely worked for you! Message for the desert: you are Parabraham prior to consciousness, Self Shining, Ever Fresh, Non-Conceptual, present moment awareness... just this and nothing else. In Peace and love

  • Four thumbs up!!!!

  • You keep showing up in lucid events (dreams, astral projections, etc), Dan. I enjoy your work and feel inspired by you often so am taking this as a really good sign :)..

  • But Animals CAN NOT COOK (:(:

  • outstanding dan!

  • Awesome!

  • great video, awesome points!

plus "hump themselves to death" lmao

  • Have you ever seen a FAT LION??? lol.. You are awesome Dan :)

  • I just subscibed recently not really knowing what this channel is about. I never really thought about changing my eatting lifestyle that much but I could stand to lose some weight. But I'm wondering if humans NEED proteins in order to be healthy, and I'm not talking about soya products, nuts or spinach- I'm mean REAL meats. However, shoulin monks don't eat meat and they are physical people... Anyways, these are some thoughts that I think of and I can't knock it till I try it.

  • @BullionBandit Dan did a video a while back on PROTEINS. If you go on his channel and type it in in the 'uploads' section it will surely pop up :)

  • @HeartOfAllThings I'll check that, thanks.

  • @BullionBandit yeah man, check out dan's past vids, you won't go wrong

  • @BullionBandit the human body reorganize it's metabolism according to your priorities. i need meat like a fiend, but i'm a bodybuilder. the average person really only needs about 50-75 grams of protien a day. really, thats not very much at all, and its totally feasable to get that much protien without any animal products.

incidentally i eat that much protein every 3-4 hours.

  • @phaedruslive 50-75 grams? that doesnt sound like much. I was thinking of eating more fish and get rid of the beef. Cause I was thinking about my ancestors and how us Humans have evolved. Humans go where the water is and that's where the fish are. Know what I mean? "they" say Omega 3 is good for us.

  • @BullionBandit thats the standard for someone who weighs less than 200 pounds to maintain their muscle mass. there are some other factors (genetics) that mess with that number but 50-75 is barebones middle of the road average. westerners tend to place undue priority on protein. the more athletic a person is the more they would need (most of the time anyways) but the number is affected only slightly.

  • I could think of one way it wouldn't work

If you are diabetic(pre/Type 1/Type 2) Eating too many(or any, for some) sweet fruits will harm you quite badly and make the situation worse.

But, you could always just leave those out and heal with mostly greens, so that in about 6 months time, you are able to eat a small amount of those sweet fruits in a salad or something similar.

  • I'm keeping this one for inspiration! Great vid Dan.

  • @hajima45 I heard him say on another one of his video's that (I think it was steam-but dont quote me please) or a cooked "sweet" potato is ok once in a while. Like he always say's and what I will want to do as well is to not limit you choices. You want to be able to live. Try and keep it as much fruits and veggies as you can but if you need to wander off a bit I wouldn't see it as a crime. You will have to deal with the consequences of it is all. hehe

  • You were On It in this Vid! LOVED it!

    XOXO

  • Dan you are the Man congrats on the miles you put in

    I can dig it!

  • WOW...! ... I just need this kind of truth until I "feel" it in my own body the way you portray seem to "live it"... thanks. RIGHT NOW...! I am taking responsibility of my body... thanks.

  • More power to you. Love your passion. God bless you. Be strong during your time in the desert.

  • Wow, yeah thats crazy that we feed ourselves this bad food and get sick but "don't feed it to the birds", haha if it makes any animal sick, it's probably not meant to be eaten, crazy stuff. Word, the meat was mad easy to give up, I've been going ape on salads and fruits, literally.....this was a great breakdown of all those bad chemicals/additives, I think that will help people to realize how clean the fruits/leafy vegetables are. Stay safe out in the desert man. Peace.

  • i wanna go 80% Raw but i dont have the money right now.. buying tons of veggie for smoothie is not that cheap here in canada.. do you have tips for shopping with less money?

  • the way u talk about cooked food.. makes me sick to my stomach lol ..

  • Thanks, Dan. Your message is inspirational as always. I hope you get what you need from your trip to the desert. You do good work and deserve the best. Look forward to hearting about it when you start broadcasting videos again. In the meantime, rest and enjoy the peace the desert provides.

  • You are the definition of MAN!

  • Thank you so much for that strong deep rooted message. i must say i just got more from you that really hit me hard than any tv preacher ever effected me put together.. Wow im still absorbing it all. You rock Man .

  • Dan,

This is one of the best vids you have EVER made!

Your whole message in eleven minutes. Wow.

  • what about potatoes and sweet potatoes??

i heard you need to cook them to eat them... does that mean i have to give up these as well?? or can i cook them slightly???

    plz help!

  • that was ah good 1 hump them selfs to death ...that reminded me of raw sushi well clean though i think i hope so

  • Dan you hit it right on for me... carbs, bread, pasta, rice are all things I'm so conditioned to eat. I've been cutting back & def bringing in more and more fruits and veggies, green drinks and smoothies. Great vid Dan w/the details on how the digestive system works. I need to learn more about the effects on the lymph system. The message on taking resp is where it's at. Right on.

  • You are a great man DAN!

  • true dat!

  • AMEN!!! :D Gonna have to favorite that one!! So well said! Enjoy your time in the desert; be safe :) Peace & Love

  • I'm gonna have to make this video my all-time favorite!!!

  • I have been trying raw food for about 4 weeks now, and I am always starving. Is this normal? It was VERY hard making the transiton to the raw foods, but I did it and now I am struggling very hard with how hungry I feel.

  • Good for you Dan.

    Continued pleasure dude..

  • Darlin!

  • Carbs/bread/pasta was hard for me to get over too. Synchronistically came across this statement today (was looking up the etymology of the word apple):

... As far as the forbidden fruit is concerned, again, the Quran does not mention it explicitly, but according to traditional commentaries it was not an apple, as believed by Christians and Jews, but wheat. ["The Heart of Islam: Enduring Values for Humanity," Seyyed Hossein Nasr, 2002]

  • Perfect Message!!!

We love you! Keep it up, man!
