  • such a beautiful flight before the crash. I am glad your bird was not too badly damaged.

  • Thats why I set all my helicopters ESC's to do low power soft cutoffs. A helicopter is one thing that you should be able to draw every bit of power from. Because when the power is gone so is the aircraft. A plane can glide safely to land on a dead stick after power cutoff engages, helicopters can only autorotate & if your not high enough, bye bye chopper... I hope you changed your settings on your ESC to soft cutoff, at least then you can tell when your getting low on power... Good video

  • What OSD are you using

  • nice flying, same about the crash.

    What OSD are you using?

  • 2. ´´It is easier for beginners to use extra flybar weights. It is inexpensive and well worth the investment. Just make sure that you get your flybar paddles back on straight,´´ ( this is a comment of yours)

CAN U TELL ME THE NAME OF THE EXTRA FLYBAR WEIGHTS, AND PLEASE EXPLAIN ME WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY ´´paddles back on straight´´, MY ENGLISH IS NOT GOOD SO PLEASE... i bought a CP v2 as my first heli experience and in the second fly i crash bad so can u help me please

  • OMG I know how that feels!!!!! That the worst feeling is when u flying high and loose control! Its like ur falling urself

  • What camera is this?

  • Ответить на это видео...

  • Is that on the left an ammeter readout? Thirty odd amps, that's quite a powerful little motor you've got in there.

  • looks like a lipo cutoff.

  • voltage gauge shows wrong voltage value. before helicopter takes off, voltage value is 12.1V and at the end it is same value! about 1800mah electricity energy has been consumed but at the end of video voltage value is still 12.1V. I think voltage decreased below 10V and ESC cut off all motor signal to protect lipo battery. The crash was strongly caused by this reason

  • out of range maybe? or air currents affected singal at long range?

  • the camera broke?

  • no, just unplugged

  • omg, i am glad that heli was fully repaired!!

  • Oof, 270-0 ft drop, not good... Glad it was ok! Could you just buy the order the extra part that broke?

  • I tried the 900mhz/500w range video AVS on my gazaur mars 480 and crashed it yesterday. the video transmitter makes the servo twitch. I have hitec hs-55 for cyclic and futaba s9257 for rudder. what servos do you use? and does the transmitter make your servos twitch like mine?

  • mabye don't go so far away next time

  • what about using a 42 channel band on my futaba 7chp and i am going to use the 2.4 ghz freqency for the video downlink

  • Hi Jump, I saw in one of your first videos that it is you second lockout of your DX7. Did you arleady find the reason? I plan to fly my Blade 400 with the DX6i and a 1.2 GHz downlink for video.

    Greetings

    Frank

  • What video system are you using that tells you the power, the ft, the MH and the Time one the screen?

  • Quick EP8

  • That was too bad JumpJet101. I hope everything's ok other than that skid. What is a "lockout" anyway?

  • Thanks Partok81, everything is alright with the heli and the video equipment. I fixed it and it's back up in the air running great. A lockout is when my 2.4Ghz TX looses signal with the RX due to interference. It's kinda hard to belive that I had interference out there where I was but it's possible.

  • Thankyou much JumpJet for that explanation. I'm a newbie to rc and am just at the AirHogs stage of the "disease". ;-) A friend who's quite experienced in Pattern rc planes said todays rc Tx's dont have to worry about interferrence like the old days. True?

  • Hi Jump What band is the video TX on? 900 MHZ is recommended if you are flying with 2.4 Spectrum or Futaba Faast. I use 2.4 GHZ video Tx with my planes that have the 72 MHZ radios. If you have a 2.4 GHZ video, it can cut you range. Even if you have spectrum. The TX from video and RX for the heli are too close proximity! Same band cross modulate.

  • I'm using a 900MHz downlink with my DX7. Most of the time there isn't any issue and range seems pretty good. Even on that flight, I was able to go atleast a half mile and back before something interferred with it.

  • Ok Great; glad to know you are up and running.

    Keep up the good work.
