@mchub532 Actually, most in the industry now use "actor" for both sexes. Years ago, the Screen Actors Guild decided to use the term based on what each person did-whether it be on stage, tv or movies, rather than base their title on their sex. "Actor" nowadays signifies the craft one does, but not the sex of the role player. Personally, I prefer it the old way. Years later, I still say actor and actress.
