I'm suprised Ibaka plays for Spain given how racist they are over there. I often hear black soccer players get the worst treatments there, get insulted and made fun of. Ibaka must play for them because he gives him better opportunities to market himself. Spain is one racist cournty!
simple,after migrating from africa at a young age playing basketball to spain. he played mostly in the spanish league who also competed in the euroleague. both leagues were highly competitive. maybe he felt he owe them since it was where he was given his break and paved the way for him to be scouted and reach NBA. it would have been different had he remained in Africa. Plus,spain was were he developed most of his bball skills and knowledge. look at Loul Deng for Uk.
