We just saw this in my health class yesterday. It really got to us, I have always worn my seatbelt and have realized the consequences, but I have to say that this made me even more conscious to make a decision to wear a seatbelt, even when visiting a foreign country where it is not the law or not enforced.

No seatbelt and I am a disabled now. I am using a wheelchair. I wish I wouldnt forget to wear it. But I did and broke my backbone, it the broken bones hurt my spinalcord and it paralayzed. Now I cant feel and moove my body under pectoral line. But luckly I can use my arms and it might not have been possible. Seven years. I forget to run, orgazm, swimm and so on. You also might loose all of these. Please dont neglect seatbelt. I am serious!

I too had an accident just last week, thank goodness it wasn't major (enough to destroy the entire right side back door though!), but my mom was with me and i saw her thrown about sideways on her seat, slightly lifted in the air and her shoulder hit the door when it happened (all which coudlve been avoided by wearing a seatbelt). This incident has awoken me and ever since i have made it a habit to wear seatbelts. Remember, if its not about you, its about your family and loved ones!

Had a friends 17 year old senior die in July..NO BELT. Working to figure out how to change the idea it is not cool to wear your seat belt...THIS WAS A AWSOME FILM!!!!!! Can we use this in school?

i was in a car accident a couple of weeks ago, i always wear my seat belt but after tHAt experience i will ALWAYS wear one... god knows what would of happened to me if i wasnt. The impact hurt like you wouldnt believe and where the seatbelt was cut, dug into me and bruised my chest... but it saved my life. WEAR ONE!

This is a big thung think before you don't put your seatbelt on because i know you would not want to loose your life because you were not wearing your seat belt so think before you do it......

Drivers & passengers receiving fines for not wearing seat belts in cars, trucks, busses etc.. has been in place in most Australian states & Territories for approx the last 20 years. Our visitors from the UK when they visited, were just amazed how we automatically put our belts on & wouldn't move until e'one in the car was strapped in.

Great video. In Australia it is an illegal act to drive a car with out a seat belt. In most states if a driver and his passengers do not have a belt on and the are caught it is approx $115 fine for each person to the driver of the car and for passengers over 18 they get fined personally as well. Repeat offending drivers can lose their licence for upto 12 months in most states in Australia.
