but greed is not human nature... if you really put 2 humans in a cage and or in a forest and both humans grow up together with no other human interaction, keep in mind they started in the wilderness since they where born, they will ultimately help eachother and share everything now if it was otherwise i will agree with you, Greed has come up because there is such a thing as power and money now if u take away both this there will be a perfect world do u think animals are greedy?

He believed humans would show their good nature if they were allowed. @sircesare Owens experiment in "New Harmony" even made him rethink his ideas and whether or not they were practical. These ideas you are talking about are not new cesare. These issues have been discussed for many years by people much smarter than you and I. Is the world perfect? no. It would be nice to live in a classless society of course, just as it would be nice to live in a world without war. Sadly, this is just not the case.

I dont think you know wat economics is. Buying milk and bread at the store is a form of economics. We need economics as much as government, because today they are ineffective, does not mean they are useless. Dont use words you dont know. The true key to freedom and happiness in the future comes down to cultural tolerance and worldwide cooperation, but as of right now, this is not reality.

but greed is not human nature... if you really put 2 humans in a cage and or in a forest and both humans grow up together with no other human interaction, keep in mind they started in the wilderness since they where born, they will ultimately help eachother and share everything now if it was otherwise i will agree with you, Greed has come up because there is such a thing as power and money now if u take away both this there will be a perfect world do u think animals are greedy?

@sircesWhen studying a group of chimps in South America they discovered that the animals did indeed co-operate. They would collect food and share it collectively amongst the group. What the researchers soon realized though, is that some monkeys would sneak when the others weren't looking and take some for themselves and hide it for another time. That is greedy/selfish.

Mind I make my way into this conversation; how would you possibly take away power and money? Say you try that, and then there would be anarchy, crimes, without the power there previously was to prevent that. So then the "Equal community" would hire a sheriff, to prevent the chaos. That's a form of authority. Power. Eventually that authority evolves into laws, governors, leaders, presidents, etc..
Then, there shall always be trading between the masses, which is a form of currency, or, money.

for example yes some government is good but the government we have right now is just an opressive regime that is out of control as much as a violent Dictatorship so what is the difference between a dictatorship and our own government? well for one the dictators are more honest and tell the people what they are the US cowards in "democracy"

well that is an extreme i would say, the reason i have not moved to another country is cause i still have hope for our country, even though lately hope is dwindling, there is much we can do to reestablish a fair gov here but only if more people help out.
back to the point A republic that of which we have is the best way of a government but when oligarchy with a deomocratic facade is put in place is when the republic starts to crumble, remember the constitution is above all. :)

I don't think I'm "Thinking in the box". I could provide numerous examples of how power and money are needed in a community. Say a hermit village is created, they support eachother by trading and giving each other items in return for other items. That's currency.
How can you compare a Democracy to a Dictatorship? For one, representatives who are influenced by the people vote on our presidents, not a chosen leader who wields power, or any other type of political influence.

ok so you think we have a real democracy? how come we do not choose our presidents like a real democracy does by making it a lottery place all the people who are qualify for presidency in a lottery and then just pull out the first name and that would be our president... we do not do this cause the people in power will never allow it. Now we do not live in a democratic country we live in a country that has only 2 political groups Reps and Dems so now how is this democratic?

Im not sitting here saying America is the model for a perfect country, I am just speaking relative to other countries. America is still one of the greatest countries in the world because it is willling to fight for democracy, not an oligarchy. You're argument is like saying "The world would be better with world peace." Well of course it would be...but show it to me.

@iiSoupNazi if you are every bored. Read about Robert Owen and his experiment in New Harmony. He was a utopian socialists (same views as you) who attempted to create a model community. He believed humans would show their good nature if they were allowed. He was successful with a similar experiment in "New Lanark" but "New Harmony" collapsed when his own partner took all their profits and ran away.

@sircesare Owens experiment in "New Harmony" even made him rethink his ideas and whether or not they were practical. These ideas you are talking about are not new cesare. These issues have been discussed for many years by people much smarter than you and I. Is the world perfect? no. It would be nice to live in a classless society of course, just as it would be nice to live in a world without war. Sadly, this is just not the case.

@sircesare Progress happens slow, often too slow. But eventually pot will be legalized, America will become secular again as it was when founded, and perhaps the world will one day know peace. Your president of this 'oligarchy' just signed a treaty agreeing with Russia to minimize their nuclear weapons. Just be patient, just because we face problems does not mean its a problem with the system, its a problem with us. Humans need to evolve before the system.

I hope we get to see the progress we desire in our lifetime. If not, at least we can be optimistic that one day the world willl be a better place.
