The song type is called 'gondhal' in which one praises godess and invites her for occasion (performed after good occasion like marriage, upanayan(mauji-bandhan).. )

however, the actual ritual (picturization)is performed for a different god... the ritual is called as 'bagad' and is performed in a small place called bawadhan in Satara district, maharashtra.

Not a very good ritual though (personal opinion)..
