  • i had a 90 lesabre for $50 in 2011 and transmission died in jan 2012 at 205xxx miles, fun to drive, i slapped some toyo tires on it and was doing some mad cornering, the speedometer might only say 100 but it still accelerated to 120 mph

  • @CambronT oh ya i think the newer models had speed limiter at 107 or something

  • @CambronT this one was running the pcm from a 97 bonneville ssei and the limiter was 127 for some reason

  • def not moms grocery lugger

  • Please, GOD, tell me that schmendrick wasn't holding the camera while driving like a moron!

  • Check engine light in true LeSabre fashion =)

  • I dunno, something seems fishy here... But I do like the way it sounds like a GN around 30mph.

  • @fortressofcomfort whats fishy? it accelerates exactly as it should. look at ssei bonneville videos and gtp videos...same gearing same engine, almost the same weight and the same acceleration...seems spot on to me. sorry you smell fish

  • phuck it you dont gotta lie man your carr really isnt tht fast!

  • I have a '90 Century 3.3L, super fast! #TeamBuick

  • good god! talk about a sleeper lol thats too cool man

  • i have a 92 buick lesabre and i love the shit out of it

  • It's quick its scary that older people drive theses too. They don't need superchargers lol jk my step mother had a 1990 Buick Century 3800 V6 dam that thing would pull you into your seat.

  • Some people claim GM-cars are the worst. Strangely, after many cars (japanese, german, american cars), I come to the conclusion that some GM Brands might not be too refined but they were among the most reliable cars we had.

  • LOL moved to 100 like nuthin

  • who the hell designed that speedometer... he deserves to get shot

  • @zjumps33 Thats earlier than a 97 cause that cluster was in the earlier boxy buicks, not the 97 that was curvy. My grandma has a LeSabre like this one and it's a 1990. The later models had regular styled clusters.

  • @clemsonbloke the only speedometer that isnt a tacometer i like is the new civics thats about it. this one is kinda hard to read (if not really hard to read)

  • @clemsonbloke 97 had 2 options on the cluster, this one has the base option, i hated it and even bought the other one to replace it and it would work. everything plugged up but the gauges were wrong

  • I m driving a Lexus es350, i m just like a king in this luxurious Japanese make, i used to drive GM cars for 5 years, they all disappoint me.

  • @wongwuipong well im glad you enjoy your lexus, but your opinion is just one in a sea of many and you cant compare the luxury of your expensive lexus to this buick that i paid 300 bucks for. now please go be ignorant and obtuse on someone elses video.

  • @wongwuipong DID YU DRIVE A CTS-V LIKE I DO ? CAUZ IT DEFINITELY DOESN'T DISAPPOINT ME .

  • @wongwuipong Ugh, sorry to hear you bought an ES350. For the same price, you could have had an awesome RWD sedan like the CTS or 3 Series. Man, way to throw away money.

  • thats an awful guage cluster...imao

  • @hondacrxd16a6 it's the cluster of a late 80's-early 90's american luxury car. you would know that if you didn't drive a honda jap crap pos :p

  • @1994lebaron relax dude..i..havent had a honda in 4 years...had this name for a while..jap isnt crap..i drive an 03 deville and 06 tacoma 4x4...both interiors look better than this cluster by far..had old gm cars ( 92 caprice...never again..)

  • @hondacrxd16a6 gotta love caddys. ur 92 have a 305? why you hatin

  • @hondacrxd16a6 350 tbi...junk...older brother had a 96 with the lt1 would smoke that p.o.s tbi

  • @hondacrxd16a6 old gms are the best man..big..smooth..roomy..chrome..reasons why pimps drive those and not civics

  • @trusessions ya i dont own a civic..b body wernt bad but deffinetly worth getting the lt1 over any other of that decade.imao

  • @wongwuipong lmfao and what do you drive? Considering that GM released the most successful lines of v10's and not to mention overall their vehicles are known for reliability.

  • @wongwuipong what an ignorant statement.....like a child

  • @wongwuipong you're garbage.

  • nvm

  • Damn thats fast

  • haha my mom owned an old 1993 Buick Park Avenue supercharged with 300,000 miles on it and it was the hunting rig. for its age and mileage, it hauled ass. this was back in 2006.

  • my pops get up wayyy faster its in a 98 88delta oldsmobile and it dosent come out of 1st gear until 52mph i thinks its a 7 speed tranny though

  • @ghammerboy97 a 98 delta is the same car as this only without a supercharger and im sorry dude your pops car is slower than this and has a 4 speed tranny, not being a prick those are just the facts. a 98 delta 88 has a naturally aspirated 3800 v6 with 205 horsepower unless its an lss in which case it hqs the same engine as this car

  • @bigmax88 its not superchargered and it has a camaro tranny

  • @bigmax88 the lss's can be na 3800s2's i had one

but thats sweet my lss didn't have a 7 speed tranny :(

  • @bigmax88

Very few LSS models came standard with the supercharged motors ( I own a 1998 LSS with the stock 3800 S/C), but many of came with the na 3800s2.

  • @ghammerboy97 pls stop playing NFS and lay off the weed

  • @bigshow196 dont have this engine on nfs and to young to smoke

  • @ghammerboy97 LOL a seven speed trans? you obviously know nothing about the car. its a 4spd.

  • @xFReSHeReST custom tranny

  • @ghammerboy97 sorry dude, but i think i speak for everyone here when i call bullshit.........

  • @bigmax88 ok

  • nice check engine light!

    love the horizontal speedo though

  • your sound is off or you took the needle off your cluster it sounded like it was in 2 or 3rd gear and you where already going 100

  • @josh198869 sound is not off dude. has a 2.93 final drive and long gears. it hits 3rd at about 90 at wide open throttle.

  • @bigmax88 ok man im not saying lieing just what it sounds like thats all

  • @josh198869 its alright, go watch a bonneville ssei do 0-100 you will see the same thing

  • @bigmax88 gotta love those tall gears! my '94 has the F17 tranny w/ 2.84 FD. gas mileage for days...

  • That's how my 98 olds lss is.

  • I love how it shot from 40 to 70! If all the dash lights were off it would be a great vid!

  • Finally a buick lesabre with a little something, ill post a vid of my lesabre its got a little stuff done to yo.....

  • It's really fast from 40-70!

  • @hialeahdude yea i cant even floor it until after 30 though because it will just spin and hardly move! lol, i pulled the motor out a few weeks ago, it going in my new grand prix gtp

  • @hialeahdude reason it looks super fast 40-70 is because the needle is long and it reads half way down the needle instead of the very tip when its reading below 40 and above 70. i also have a 94 buickwith same dash setup they do pull good after 40 but its not as fast as it looks its just the needle position

  • @milldabeast519 i don't think so.

  • @form109 the buicks really fast range is 40-70 but the needle is still deceiving

  • @milldabeast519 i agree i sometimes drive a 93 (still a great looking car) with the naturally aspirated 3.8 and it pulls great from like 30-70 but the needle is deceiving. the only way to know for sure though is to take it to the track

  • check engine light, ABS light, oil lightt haha every things on

  • @wafflez445 yea lots of stuff was still unplugged ..lol

  • i'd love to drop a series 1 L67 in my '94. did you drop the subframe or drop the motor in from the top?

  • @StevewiththePbass i just dropped the motor and trans in the top together. it wasnt hard and i actually thought it was a lot easier than the subframe swaps ive done.

  • whys your oil light on?

  • i busted the sending unit when i installed the engine.

  • Damn dude you were right looks like it picks up later.

I love how your speedometer goes up to 100. My sisters Jettas Speedometer goes up to 160 and tops out at 110 =P

  • yea i think my 0-100 time is only about a second or so off from yours, but my 0-60 is a lot slower

  • It is awesome to see a supercharged buick lesabre. There is only 2 supercharged lesabres on youtube. If you sold this car you will get a lot more than you invested in it. I have a 95 lesabre with some good mods on it. It will keep up with your car in first, but after that your car would haul ass away from it.

  • @buickman85 yea mine spind all the way to 40, i think my 87 suburban would take it in first, lol, hard to launch this thing, but most anything that got away from it in first i think would have a short lived victory..lol. nice to see some other 3800 guys out there and i love the lesabres. mine is the only one in this body style on here though..=P
