Reverse? Not quite, haha. They simply shift positions, rather than depleting and leaving us with no protection from radiation. Pole shifts are nothing but a name change that has happened numerous times previously throughout the existence of humans. If "excessive radiation" were to be released on our planet, cancer, volcanos, and our molten core would be the least of our problems.

I have known about this theory for awhile, a good book to learn more is Pole Shift by John White. It is a collection of theories pointing what is wrong with them, what is right & what needs more investigation. First off, pole revesal is a repeating part of a planets cycle, its happened before, like ice ages, and guess what it's going to happen again, however all life didnt die out so dont read much into it. The time between the reversal is increasing also so it's hard to predict when exactly it will happen.

Magnets will not be affected.

Some people specualte that poile reversal could be the reason for a collapsed matian atmosphere.

'Fingerprints of the Gods" by Graham Hancock is a great book, if anyone wants some serious info on this. Hancock doesn't go into aliens like 'Chariots of the Gods' does, but it lays out the vast antiquity of lost civilizations, and deals with Polar shift, climate change, and the massive upheavalthat has been fortold long ago by many different cultures. What we can infer, due to the astronomical accuracy of the calander, is that it ends for a reason. Science finds a coralition with an extremely rare galactic event... but we honestly don't know what that means to us.
