  • That's one way to play lawn darts!

  • Did he eject?

  • Both ejected but they were too close to the ground. The instructor pilot was severely injured and the student pilot sustained minor injuries.

  • im not the smartest man in the world but i think the bird is not ok

  • I agree ;) heh

  • bird got sucked in engine at takeoff, stalling it

  • That's exactly what happened. They ejected so close to the ground that they were severely injured. Some day I'll follow up to see how it all turned out.

  • I know theres no footage from pilot training gone wrong

  • you need some sleep. you are saying bullshit

  • no real footage from pilot training gone wrong

  • Ouch. =/

  • cool video

  • Wheeeeeeeeeee and eject!

  • Cracking video

  • Glad you enjoyed it. I forgot to mention that the pilots ejected at such a low altitude that their parachutes didn't have enough time to open completely and both were severely injured.

  • Awesome video. And a good lesson on the seriousness of bird strikes. What plane is this? The bird seemed to enter the left intake, so I'm assuming a T-38.

  • I don't know; I think this was in Canada.

  • Another video of this calls it a BAE Systems CT-155 Hawk trainer.

  • I'm sure the next time they hit a bird mid-flight they'll have much better video... lol

  • See above.

  • kinda fuzzy use a better video camera

  • The original looks fine on my end. It is definitely degraded here.
