@zolluuu Thanks man. I played this at an open mic a couple of weeks ago, and people loved it. I've always liked this song, but your right that it's not one you'd think of playing without a lot of electrical backup.
i don't want to seem like one of these people on here who has the mental capacity of a 5 year old, but emo is destroying a very special culture, you have done well on this i wasn't sure to start off with but it has worked and if i was you i'd feel proud
I'm with you on this. My 17 year old daughter says this song is emo, but I think there is a lot of good stuff out there from bands like The Cure, The Smiths, and Ministry that reflect very valid cultural shifts from the late '80s and early '90s. My kids just see alot of the more recent music in that mode as trying to capitalize on a certain market segment.
I love that kind of music, though. I'm glad you thought I did an OK job with this.
Used a piano in this one huh? Cool! This is a good song, good job. Is that your house? Really beautiful. That electric guitar is really cool. By the way, do you take song requests? lol, that'd be neat
You have now seen my entire repetoir on the piano: three notes.
I'm open for requests, but I don't have a ton of time, and I'm not that good, so it takes me a while to work something up. If you've got suggestions, I'd love to hear them, though
@kchyatt My kids say it's an emo song... who am I to argue with them? :p

Nice work, man. This isn't a song you'd expect to sound good outside the studio, but you pulled it off. Well done.

Great cover! Mind letting me know the guitar chords? I think this would be a fun song to try out with an acoustic.

Thanks for the comment. I just picked 'em out by ear, but these are the chords that I use:
Em Am / Em Am (2x) C Am Em Am / C Am Em C Am Em C Em

this was out way before emo was coined how dare you!
chronoglideskyway2 2 years ago
Love this song but have to agree, when this came out the term emo did not exsist.... it was gothic and industrial.
