This setup is illegal! The little pushbutton breakers on that "transfer switch" are what electrical inspectors call "supplemental overcurrent devices" and they are NOT an acceptable substitute for full size circuit breakers. When you switch to generator power, those little guys are all you have protecting your house wiring on those circuits. An inspector would fail you for that, and your fire insurance company will cancel your policy if they see this video.
By the way as far as your answer to the guy about where you run the generator; is that if there are bedrooms above the garage and the generator exhaust fumes "pool" above the doors you may introduce CO2 into those rooms without even setting off the "local" CO detector(s).
You're a smart guy and this is a nice presentation but the other reason for not back feeding the grid is that if the power comes back on the utility's system is going to "win" (even if the phase differential isn't a factor) in the tug of war over your house's power. The point being that you will possibly blow up your generator and melt down your house wiring as well as (most probably) causing a fire.
You should never run your generator in you garage. This can kill you and your entire family. Cord needs to be long enough for generator to be placed outside.
@mortysonfire We run it in our garage but we move it close to outside like 4 inches from outside with both garage doors open and a box fan blowing air from inside to the garage to through the generator to outside. Trust me it is very very well ventilated and we have 3 carbon monoxide detectors on when running it. Thanks for your concern though. The reason we have it close to outside like 4 inches from outside is so it does not get rained on during storms.
What does a transfer kit cost? I bought a 6,500 watt generator and would like to have it hooke up like you have it. Thanks for the info... Ron

@rwbigbear Around $325 for the transfer switch itself and I am not sure about the price for an electrician installing it.

@RSBSTEADICAM Trust me we thought of everything and there are no rooms above the garage.
