i remember when my friend came over early and he liked this game i had rented. I got too owl forest and i had piano lessons that day (teacher came to my house)

so while he was playing that in my room i had lessons. Fun times i'll never forget. Well we both grew apart and i hate him now :P. Btw this was like in maybe 1996-7-8-9?

i remember being stuck, i couldn't figure out how to beat the first boss (the dragon thingy (sorry i forgot your name - don't hate me)) and i just kept farming the first few floors to build up my weapons and get stuff, then when i figured out you could shoot it down i killed it in one hit with my sword... that's how powerful it had gotten O.o (had like 999 kills on first floor)

@angryeyedude1 i'm not entirely sure, i was pretty young at that time, i pretty much beat the game by trial and error as i didn't understand English very well.. i'm thinking of playing it again just for the story..

Dark Cloud might very well be my favourite game of all time... :D

You know the guy who uses the hammers, well I have a hammer thats called last judgement +11 its so epic..... It does over 300 damage... All tho I havent killed the last boss quite yet.... Not the monkey the darkk genie i have no swords for the...uh

@Candycare56 Goro do tend to have very powerful weapons and that hammer you have is still a level 4 hammer and not the maxed out level 5. I have a last judgement hammer too but I bearly up graded it yet because I perfer Toan and Xiao. Yet with that hammer of yours I am sure you will beat the first and thrid stage of the genie with ease. But you have to be quick about it which is not one of Goro strong points. Stamina drinks and holy powder just in case.

This was my favorite level. The music was awesome and I loved running through the forest with Xiao and killing everything in sight. Man those floors were fun even the cursed ones.
