  • If you dont like it Ur a GAGAhead, U STINK

  • hi-hats rule

  • Simply one of the best songs ever recorded by anybody, anywhere, ever. That's all there is to it.

  • i love this one

  • Ohh! Killing Joke....for me First time to see your song....But I enjoy with you "Alternative Rock".....Yeah!!!

    Rose

  • @joeyabs77 Ah... You mean Youth in that horrible White Suit? His original one was burned back in 1981 after he got wrecked on acid and went into a bank, withdrew and then burned all his money. After he was arrested and comitted the Hospital burned it.... i'm guessing this one is a replacement lol

  • Talk about Pearls before the proverbial swine

  • Nice Tama Starclassic drumset!

  • year?

  • @gaae2000 2009

  • Crowd? What do you expect from drippy hippy toss pots. Rich ones at that!!

  • anthem of the '80s!

  • grande Killing Joke.

  • This still rocks, thanks

  • ale czad

  • @roger131067

What bloody hell is wrong with the crowd??? frellin' idiots!

  • @mortuary3 just don.t seem very up for it

  • Jazz Coleman has to be the scariest looking front man of a band ever lol

  • The Singer Looks Like A rapist haha but amazing band

  • Jaz still has the same angry look. Awesome sound, too.

  • They're not asleep. They're petrified by this astonishing performance of an everlasting song!

  • Comment removed

  • apparently they were on really early in the morning so everyone was still half asleep

  • I love this band. Have done since hearing their second LP, 'What's THIS for!' when I was about 18. And I love the fact they are still playing and sounding as good as ever. Such a good performance! Brilliant drummer, bassist, guitarist and frontman. What's that crazy cymbal you can see at 4:02?! Can't say I've seen one of those before...

  • This is a stellar and inspiring performance.

  • The Cover from Sybreed is a bit better ;O)

  • They were incredible this year in the tent at Sonisphere. Left Metallica early to get a good spot for KJ. Tore Knebworth a new arsehole.

  • This is an inspiring live performance and worthy of the Gods!!

  • fukn AWESOME !!!!

  • Quanto mi piacerebbe vedere un concerto di Killing Joke.

    Adoro questa canzone... Ciao

  • Well... they are much older (like myself) - but man.... still sounds good!!

  • great music

  • Yes, reminds me of way back - Leeds Poly gig 198tie..er...ah...7? i was the only one pogoing that night. Geordie - one of the greatest guitar ever. Jaz still mesmeric.

  • you got the great cull on rip?

  • What a lame crowd, were they all dead!!!

  • exellent, fab you name it. I stil remember when i've heard it first time somewhere in the begining of '90s. I thought what's that? it was brilliant still love them

  • his voice sounds even better now

  • Fuck me. Killing Joke still have the mad vibe here. I bought What's This For in 1981, and I am still trying to figure it out.

  • Love this band, love this song. Why, why, why can't bands make music like this today? I grew up listening to this kind of music (Gen X). A lot of the Gen Y stuff is crap. Bring back the 80's please.

  • I dont care what anybody says, but Jaz Coleman( and he is Brillaint )has got to be one of the scariest front man of a band around .

  • I dont care what anybody says, but Jaz Coleman( and he is Brillaint )has got to be one of the scariest front man of a band around

  • This in a tent at midnight is going to be awesome.

  • absolute fantastic after all these years...thanks for posting

  • The times for the singer are gone ...

  • They are too young, believe me, anyway, any time has there crowd. But we are still HERE ;-)))

  • i was also right at front for this.first band on sunday.most people there were metal heads so not too surprising crowd aren't going nuts.enough people got em.too short set for them, same with nine inch nails.should've fucked limp bizkit off and stretched everone else out a bit longer.was a good set up.enjoyed these mastodon and nine inch nails immensely.

  • buen tema... de lo mejor del new wave

  • Superb quality, cheers

  • The Killing joke was the best small venue concert that I ever went to 1990 at the Masquerades in Ybor city (tampa) fl! Off the hook visually and musically!!

  • Jaz's voice is great here...

Man I wish he would cover keyboard duties himself... bring back the Oberheim!

  • Wow! I can't believe how good they sound after all these years!

  • OMG!! Fantastic!!

    1000 *****

  • shit crowd, must be annoying to play in front of a sea of tranqilised faces

  • Lame ass crowd. They shoulve played millenium, asteroid, loose cannon, hosannas, just to name a few for this "metal" crowd.

  • Great version to see! :-O 3 more weeks and finally - after 29 years of wanting to, I'll get to see them. :)

  • Brilliant !!!!!

  • la rajaaa!

  • They've still got it. Still the fuckin' best!!!

  • God I love Jazz Coleman so much, I'd go as far to say he is the only true musician who has done everything he sings and talks about, that is why no one you know has ever heard of him!

  • ONE OF THE MOST GREAT SONGS EVER !!!

  • I've seen this video for sometime now. I wonder if any live performances like this from the "Hossanas album.." mainly like gratitude, implosion, walking with..etc.. I also like Love of the Masses, even back in 1987 in Manila, Philippines.

  • Whats up with the crowd? Are the on prescription barbituates or something? I am watching this at my desk on my PC and going berserk - reminded of the tour at the Hammie Palais when they showcased the LP. FFS they start clapping before it ends (anyone familiar with the LP version would have known it was going to build into another epic phase). That crowd didn't deserve them. Cant wait for Hammie Odeon in 6 weeks or so! Roll on the Endgame!

  • @CONSIDERABLYMORE1 I agree. Halcyon kids. They don't know how lucky they are to see and here this.

  • Svara på det här videoklippet... Pansardivision. KJ are religion

  • @klasse645 100% spot on mate.

  • RIP Paul Raven...Thanks for this song here. Which year was this concet???

  • Geordie doesnt aged at all!

one of my favorite band, gonna see them live soon !

  • the guitarist has lost the plot tone wise. the bass player is doing the same slow downstrokes all the time and looks like he cant do anything other than that and the singer forgot how to point his mic to his mouth

  • @SuperTVInternational you dont know chocolate, this was a fantastic rendition of a very emotional song and time for us 'Joke fans, obviously you are a passer thro'!

  • point microphone to mouth.

    very good

  • Great Show ... I Want see this Show in Brazil !!!!!

  • Great Drummer !!

  • Lifeless crowd, no sense of history.

    Kids eh?

  • @nobby1997 : Maybe they're just hypnotized by what they're watching. Honestly, I hate the guys who jump everywhere as soon as the song kicks in, I it were for jumping, I'd stay home and jump to the sound of my CD player. If I go to a concert, I want to see the band, feel the vibes with all my senses... Ya know.

  • pretty cool! i'm lookin forward to the new album. out at 13.08. in europe

  • great performance. lol at the bottle of wine. rock and roll

  • One of the most powerful songs of the eighties. A very good drumplayer by the way...............

  • beste80's song gewoon prachtig

  • More than just a 'band'.

  • what a geat drumplayer

  • What the F happened to Jaz?? He's looking so thin here!! And looking so serious.. I hope he is well. I can;t hardly wait to the release of the new album. I will see my most beloved band in september in Amsterdam. Yes, yes, yes. KJ rules my life..

    Wout from the Dutch Deafening.

  • AGE

  • best band and worst crowd

  • @kechen True that with Best band comment! :)

  • Most boring crowd ever...

  • It's so fantastic to see the four of them back together again, playing as good, if not better than they ever did! Their music still vibrates to my very soul...they just AMAZE me! Big Paul...you really pound it home! Wow!

  • Thank you for post it...

  • The crowd seems bored D:

  • i was there, glad i checked them out b4 heading to the festival. i knew they were gonna be one of the top bands to watch and i was fucking right. What a force! goin seeing them in edinburgh in april. can't wait!

  • still beautiful after all these years...

  • One of the best bands/songs ever.

  • they were sick live, the vangelis/blade runner intro to the day was epic, cheers killing joke!

  • Comment removed

  • very nice video and very nice song!!!

i love the bottle of wine for ...geordie?....

  • well...at least the band was giving it their all, getting right into it despite an ignorant crowd....

  • Whats wrong with this crowd? Was there a lot of heroin going around?

  • They were the first band on the sunday and everyone was fucked up! good wake up band though. Not heavy and a great start to the best day of any festival ive been to.

  • Killing Joke are very heavy, especially live :|

  • welllll maybe. But not when you have lamb of god, machine head and metallica playing on the same day as them. However, it was the heaviest bass i had heard over the weekend

  • @harpo10 Just playing in the wrong place with the wrong crowd, Killing Joke is not a daylight band and probably is not an Heavy Metal Festival band as well...

  • @harpo10 The crowd were less active than usual as Killing Joke were on early in the day, many were just waking and hadn't had the chance to have a few pints.

  • Awesome! I was there in the front row with my arm hairs standing on end. My favourite song I've seen live. Didn't see the crowd behind me, it was like my own private gig.

  • too much bass, not enough guitars and keyboards. fucking loser soundguys.

  • MORE Golden Harp!!!

  • Very nice. Geordie has to carry more weight outside and plays an impressive "power" version of "love like blood"! I just love that guy! (as a guitarist mind you)

  • great performance, Killing Joke in top form !

  • I quite liked KJ. I'll be honest I wasn't a huge fan before, but I had always heard my dad go on about them, Bauhaus and the like, they were cool!

  • Crowd looks really annoying, its a fucking shame, I was there and I loved them!

Without KJ, we'd never have had a ministry, a Nirvana, a Fear Factory, or a Porcupine Tree...I think they're brilliant.

  • Killing Joke had, arguably, the most bored crowd of the festival. Where I was stood (waiting for LoG with all the other people) I saw about 3 people who where there to see KJ...

  • what's your point? that they are no good?? ithe crowd must have sucked then.

  • wow thank you. what an awsome quality. anymore?

  • hopefully, when i get my hands on them i put straight on here so subscribe for like a month cus probs stop gettin them afta that

  • well, as always thank you very much!

  • good man for putting these vids up. The live coverage is in two days anyway, so loads of peeps are gonna be putting them up then. How did you get these vids soo early?
