yes it will handle anything 6ft to flat maybe larger with a landing ramp, tougher than nails. im not sure about the newr models but they are probably just a little lighter

I have got a '01 hardrock comp and its still fine the only damage is a few scratches (but that is what you would expect from a 9 year old bike) its really light aswell

The stock components maybe, but the Hardrock frame pre-09 is EXTREMELY strong and has a very versatile design. Even in stock form the only issue I or anyone should be concerned with would be the budget bottom bracket and maybe the fork that would probably blow after a few sessions of DJ.
