Advance Map Tutorials: Part 2 - Movement Permissions

How do I make it so that you can enter/exit a place/map? Please help?

@iFail777 There are two ways, if I understand your question.

1.) Make a 'connection' between the two maps. Connections are smooth bindings between maps such as Pallet Town and the route above it. These are used when you physically walk between the two maps. Set connections using the four blue arrows in the top bar.

2.) Make a 'warp' between the two maps. Warps are used with things like doors, stairs, and cave entrances. They are set using the events tab.

I got confused on the coast tiles before watching this, so I checked it out on a map already made with coasts. You are supposed to use 4 on the coasts, but anyways great video. To the people complaining about his voice, at least he has the guts to use his voice unlike the people who use text all the time.
