it is good mental practice to go up to shots with a short pre shot routine or none at all and let the subconscious mind take over but i dont think running is necessary.

Sounds fun if you can get there early enough, oh and btw most stand bags nowadays are like 4 lbs. And you only carry the bare essential clubs so weight isn't a factor

Did any of you detractors even listen to what he said? Maybe you can't play as fast because of other players on the course, but you can walk up to the tee box with the same process. Concentrate more on where you want to hit the ball, and less on where you don't.
