Review: Milani 3D Holographic Nail Polish

I really like the holographic effect this polish has (I've tried "Digital"). It seems to last better than most other glitter/holographic polishes I've tried do.

It just looks like glitter polish... On a side note, I heard that you are NOT suppose to put a top coat on any holographic polishes, because it will take away from the 3-D effect

@FallenByGrace87 True. I used Sally Hansen's Xstreamwear in Invisible with it and it did reduce the effect. On the bright side, when I washed dishes a few hours later, the polish looked just as nice afterwards as it did before the chore!

Its just glitter nothing else if you wand 3d buy the old 3d glesses and buy red and blue nail color and put them on each side of the nail a diffrent color and then put on the glasses and VUALA you have 3d nails :D like if you like

two coats is also fine...in the sun your nails will still look like yu gi oh cards!

i have never tried china glaze or OPI because they are so expensive but i have bought Milani when it goes on sale at my local CVS. It is about $5 for two on sale so I get two. I currently have Breezy, purple passion, art deco blue, electric pink, and La vie en rose. Milani is my favorite nail polish brand and my second fav is probably Hard as Nails. :)

it looks like once it dries the surface is bumpy. is that very bumpy or smooth when dry?

PS. This collection is awesome. :) My fave is Hi-Tech - it has the strongest holo effect out of the whole collection, IMO.

I love this polish soo much! I have it in Hi-Tech (light green) cyberspace (light blue) and 3D (gold) they are pretty much the best polish's I have ever owned. however I did notice that after a few days the sparkle isn't as vibrant or 3D-ish as when I first applied it but it's still pretty. And I never wear poish for more than like 3 days so it's all good :)

Great video, Dakota! The worst part is that the camera doesn't pick up the holographic beauty of this baby that well. I have it in silver, and am planning to get the whole set. I have to pay $5.50 for them, though. =(

@narupurple66 I like it, actually, because I can use this polish either as a topcoat or as a polish. One coat makes a gorgeous holographic topcoat, three coats make an opaque polish. It's like getting two in one!

I love this polish have it in blue, purple and green :) and it's holographic which means when you turn or move your fingers it shimmers of other colors that's all ;P & ditto on turning off the volume if it annoys you that much geez use your brain people it won't hurt you...really ;D

@luxuriousnails Definitely get it you'll love it! i find that Holographic polish looks best with either a small design cause you don't really want to take away from the polish it self or a black polish with just the tips done in(holographic) a french manicure it just makes the holographic polish pop even more ;) enjoy the polishes i plan on buying more colors *grins*

Okay lets be honest here... How does 3D nail polish look like? Is it supposed to jump at your nose when you polish it? NO. Does it come with 3D glasses? NO. From what I can tell this 3D polish is suppose to have a Holographic effect  which is does. I'm not sure what else you guys are expecting from it lol.

Anyhow I have holographic nail polish from China Glaze and I love to put it over other colors nail polishes.

And yes if you dont like the music turn off your speakers...

@wereallmadhere9 it's virtually impossible to stop the squeaking when playing guitar. That's the result of moving up and down the fret board. This person just needs to replace it's strings. I agee with you though, it can get a bit annoying if your not used to it.

I love this! I have the same blue one you have and the gold. I haven't tried the gold yet though. It really is very sparkly! The holographic look you can see best in bright sunlight and it's not all that prominent, but if you look hard, it's there. They do wear good too. For those wondering about removal, I had to use 100% acetone polish remover as that works best.
