Pound for pound, this is the most exciting sailing going on anywhere on the planet right now, F@#% the Americas Cup, Scr@w the Volvo Ocean Race, and double, no TRIPLE F@&% the Olympics, those old snoozebags wouldnt know excitement if Spitzer paid $1000 an hour for it to sit in their laps!!! F18 is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

I'm a dinghy sailor, not a cat sailor, but watching this and other multihull vids it's hard to understand how the ISAF could have dumped cat racing from the Olympics and brought in keelboat match racing! OK, the Tornado is very expensive, but they could have adopted an F18 or F20 for a lot less cash...

As a dinghy racer I say "Hooray for cat sailing!"...

I totally agree. The tornado is an insane boat to sail. Keel boat match racing is only fun to watch if you know what is going on. Watching almost any kind of cat racing is awesome weather you know whats going on or not.

@sailnick, as an F18 and Tornado sailor myself, I will tell you now that Tornado brand new out of the box is 30, 000 AUD and an F18 is around 28, 000 AUD. Where the Olympic 49er is 34, 000 AUD.
